Patent number: 4157850Abstract: An electronic antiskid control device which comprises a frequency multiplier of the phase locked-loop type, which receives repetitive pulses of predetermined frequency representing the speed of one wheel. The phase locked-loop multiplier normally outputs a second pulse signal, the frequency of which is normally equal to the frequency of the wheel speed signal multiplied by a given number. A digital counter which is periodically reset at a frequency equal to that of the wheel speed signal measures the number of pulses of the second pulse signal during each period. The measured number is transfered into a memory element and calculating apparatus responsive to the value stored in the memory element control an antiskid cycle. In operation under normal conditions, the number stored in the memory element is constant and has no action on the calculating apparatus.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1977Date of Patent: June 12, 1979Assignee: Societe Anonyme D.B.A.Inventor: Guy Marouby

Patent number: 4156379Abstract: Disclosed is a digital arpeggio system for an electronic organ that through the use of digital techniques permits arpeggios, note sequences as well as strum, multi, organ, and normal modes of operation to be played automatically. Two counters scan by counting through an 8.times.8 matrix of 64 words covering the 61 notes of an organ in rapid sequence upon the playing of one or more organ keys. Each word is fed to a corresponding one of 61 decoders, one for each note of the keyboard. If a corresponding key has been played, the decoder provides a signal to a corresponding pulser circuit which enables a corresponding keyer to transmit an audio signal from an audio oscillator corresponding to the played key to an output system and loudspeaker. The two counters are stopped by a clock control while the note is sounded and then the counters are enabled by the counter control to continue counting through the matrix until the next actuated key is located.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 1977Date of Patent: May 29, 1979Assignee: D. Patent number: 4156845Abstract: Faulty alternator diodes are identified by detection of a voltage ripple across the terminals of the automotive storage battery. A diode is forward biased whenever the battery has adequate charge to be designated a "good battery", and the forward bias condition is utilized as a reference potential. A voltage divider scales the reference potential, and couples it to the inverting terminal of a comparator. The non-inverting terminal is biased at a predetermined differential from the inverting terminal, and the probe signal is AC coupled to the non-inverting terminal. If a diode is bad, the superposition of the AC with the bias will switch the comparator and energize a light emitting diode.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 1977Date of Patent: May 29, 1979Assignee: K-D Manufacturing CompanyInventors: Frank J.
