Abstract: The double-walled waste container provides an open-top roll-off container being rectangular in shape and having latching door portions at one end. The container employs a double wall construction to minimize damage, improve strength, and reduce weight. Additionally, the container provides a plurality of drain apertures which extend a full length of the container to drain off accumulated liquids and to prevent corrosion of the container.
Abstract: Described herein are antibodies, and antigen-binding fragments thereof, that are specific for tumor endothelial marker 1 (TEM-1), related polynucleotides, expression vectors, and cells that express the described antibodies. Also provided are methods of using the described antibodies, and antigen-binding fragments thereof, and related kits. Provided herein are also methods for diagnosing TEM-1-expressing cancers (such as melanoma, sarcoma, bladder cancer or colon cancer) using the described antibodies, and antigen-binding fragments thereof. Abstract: The present invention relates to dimeric pentadentate chelators with exceptionally strong binding of metal ions, for detection, immobilization and purification of biomolecules. Dimeric chelators offer a cooperativity of binding of two adjacent immobilized metal ions simultaneously to a histidine-tagged biomolecule, which gives advantageous properties regarding strength of binding compared to a corresponding monomer chelator. In addition, a dimer increases the selectivity (ease of separation) against non-tagged biomolecules with low metal-ion affinity.

Abstract: Provided is a therapeutic agent for Lewy body disease comprising (S)-7-(2-methoxy-3,5-dimethylpyridin-4-yl)-1-(tetrahydrofuran-3-yl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one represented by formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
Abstract: Methods for reticle enhancement technology (RET) include representing a target wafer pattern or a predicted wafer pattern as a smooth function captured as a function sample array, which is an array of function values. A continuous tone mask (CTM) is provided, where the CTM is used to produce the predicted wafer pattern. Methods for RET also include inputting a target wafer pattern, where the target wafer pattern spans an entire design area. The entire design area is divided into a plurality of tiles, each tile having a halo region surrounding the tile. A proposed mask for the entire design area is iterated until the proposed mask meets criteria towards producing the target wafer pattern. Each iteration includes calculating a predicted wafer pattern for a subset of the plurality of tiles; and updating the proposed mask for that tile; where all tiles in the subset are calculated before the next iteration.
Abstract: An optical sensor (1) for detecting a chemical species includes a substrate (3), a mesoporous matrix (5) disposed on the substrate, and a microporous matrix (7) disposed within the mesoporous matrix. The microporous matrix (7) includes an indicator dye (9) dispersed therein, the indicator dye (9) exhibiting changes in its optical properties in response to the presence of the chemical species. This arrangement significantly increases the amount of dye present, while allowing the medium to be analyzed greater access through the porous structure, thereby increasing the performance of the sensor.

Abstract: A method for testing the internal structure of a refractory part, has the following steps: a) by a transmission antenna, sending at least one electromagnetic wave, termed a “pulse”, into the refractory part to be tested; b) by a reception antenna, receiving the pulse after reflection thereof by a reflecting zone of the refractory part; c) analyzing the time offset between the two preceding steps in order to deduce the position, in the refractory part, of the reflecting zone, the pulse having a duration less than or equal to 0.5 nanoseconds.

Abstract: A method to visualize and correct alignment errors between paired 2D and 3D data sets is described. In a representative embodiment, a display interface used for dental implant planning includes one or more display areas that enable the operator to visualize alignment errors between the paired 2D and 3D data sets. A first display area renders 3D cone beam data. A second display area renders one or more (and preferably three (3) mutually orthogonal views) slices of the cone beam data. A third display area displays a view of a 2D scanned surface map (obtained from an intra-oral scan, or the scan of a model). According to a first aspect, the view of the 2D scanned surface map in the third display area is “textured” by coloring the 2D surface model based on the intensity of each 3D pixel (or “voxel”) that it intersects.

Abstract: The systems, devices, articles, and methods generally relate to sampling from an available probability distribution. The samples maybe used to create a desirable probability distribution, for instance for use in computing values used in computational techniques including: Importance Sampling and Markov chain Monte Carlo systems. An analog processor may operate as a sample generator, for example by: programming the analog processor with a configuration of the number of programmable parameters for the analog processor, which corresponds to a probability distribution over qubits of the analog processor, evolving the analog processor with a fast ramp operation, and reading out states for the qubits. The state for the qubits may be post processes and/or used to calculate importance weights.
Abstract: The invention discloses an antenna assembly comprising one or more sensors, possibly a fish-eye camera which produces images of the sky above the antenna, said images being processed to identify open sky and occulted sky areas, said identification being used to generate an antenna gain pattern shape wherein null zones are placed on the occulted sky areas, so as to eliminate the GNSS signals which are affected by multipath reflection. The antenna assembly of the invention may be used with any GNSS receiver of the prior art. No specific data on the location of the receiver or its orientation is needed to perform the method of the invention, while in some embodiments, it may be useful to send some information on the number of satellites in view in the open sky.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides peptide compositions (e.g., of self-assembling peptides) with particular attributes (e.g., peptide identity, peptide concentration, pH, ionic strength [including salt identity and/or concentration), etc. that show particularly useful material properties. The present disclosure also provides technologies for selecting and/or formulating particular peptide compositions useful in specific contexts. In some embodiments, provided peptide compositions have an elevated pH within the range of about 2.5 to about 3.5 and/or an ionic strength that is above that of a corresponding composition of the same peptide, at the same concentration, in water, but is below a critical salt point for the peptide (e.g., so that the composition is not cloudy).

Abstract: A tape closure system is shown and described herein. The tape closure system includes a first tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive and a second tape component having a pressure sensitive adhesive, where at least one of the pressure sensitive adhesives has a modified surface to reduce the tack of the surface such that when the first and second pressure adhesives are brought into contact with one another they may sufficiently adhere to one another to form a seal but are still separable from one another and able to be repeatedly opened and sealed. Such a tape may be manufactured through high speed manufacturing processes and wound into large master rolls. In the roll configuration, the modified surface contacts the backside of the liner and experiences compressive forces in the roll. Due to the compressive forces, a part of the modified surface may get pushed into the PSA, thereby affecting the properties of the modified adhesive.
