Abstract: The present invention belongs to the fields of insecticides, acaricides and fungicides, and particularly relates to a piperonylic acid derivative, and preparation and application thereof. The structure is shown in a general formula I, and the definition of each substituent in the formula is described in the description. The compound of the general formula I exhibits excellent insecticidal, acaricidal and fungicidal activity and can be used for controlling various harmful insects, mites or fungus.
Abstract: A portable device is shown for transporting asphalt repair materials for use in repairing potholes in asphalt pavements. The device has a body with a hopper compartment for transporting and dispensing asphalt mix materials. A heat transfer oil chamber is located below the hopper compartment and is heated by a primary heat source during normal working hours of the device. A pair of electrically powered electric heat riser tubes extend in a longitudinal direction in a horizontal plane in the hopper compartment above the bottom wall of the compartment for heating the asphalt materials in the hopper compartment during non-working hours.
Abstract: A device for protection of an optical sensor includes at least one nozzle for projection of air in front of the optical sensor, the projection nozzle being arranged on a side of the optical sensor and linked to an air discharge pump via a discharge conduit such that the air projected by the air projection nozzle is flush with the optical sensor, and at least one suction conduit arranged on the opposite side of the optical sensor to the projection nozzle. The suction conduit is linked to the discharge conduit of the pump, downstream of the pump, such that the suction in the suction conduit is achieved by a Venturi effect.
Abstract: The ankle foot orthosis solves a problem of a poor adaptation to a user's foot (3) and the related discomfort. It provides for simultaneous correction of several symptoms in the foot and ankle areas. It is completely produced from a uniform material, the thickness and shape of which change depending on user's specific needs. It is designed in such a way that it does not intervene with other functions of a user's foot. It is manufactured by preparing a 3D model of a user's foot when placed in a physiologically correct static position, by modelling the ankle foot orthosis directly to a 3D model of the foot (3), by 3D printing from preferably a photopolymer, and by adequate post-processing. Due to its minimalistic design, the user can wear the orthosis in a shoe of his appropriate foot size.

Abstract: A system-on-chip is provided which is configured for real-time depth estimation of video data. The system-on-chip includes a monoscopic depth estimator configured to perform monoscopic depth estimation from monoscopic-type video data, and a stereoscopic depth estimator configured to perform stereoscopic depth estimation from stereoscopic-type video data. The system-on-chip is reconfigurable to perform either the monoscopic depth estimation or the stereoscopic depth estimation on the basis of configuration data defining a selected depth estimation mode. Both depth estimators include shared circuits which are instantiated in hardware and reconfigurable to account for differences in the functionality of the circuit in each depth estimator.

Abstract: Computer systems and methods generate a stochastic categorical autoencoder learning network (SCAN). The SCAN is trained to have an encoder network that outputs, subject to one or more constraints, parameters for parametric probability distributions of sample random variables from input data. The parameters comprise measures of central tendency and measures of dispersion. The one or more constraints comprise a first constraint that constrains a measure of a magnitude of a vector of the measures of central tendency as compared to a measure of a magnitude of a vector of the measures of dispersion. Thereafter, the sample random variables are generated from the parameters and a decoder is trained to output the input data from the sample random variables.
