Abstract: A motor vehicle transmission device is described. The transmission has an actuating unit, used for canceling a tooth-on-tooth position of coupling elements, wherein the actuating unit actuates a transmission brake when the tooth-on-tooth position is detected. The transmission also has a second actuating unit for actuating a disconnect clutch, the second actuating unit actuating the disconnect clutch when the tooth-on-tooth position is detected. The actuating unit for actuating the transmission brake and the second actuating unit for actuating the disconnect clutch are actuated in coordination with one another, in order to cancel the tooth-on-tooth position.

Abstract: A device and a method for influencing the spring force characteristic of an active chassis of a motor vehicle are provided. A wheel spring device is arranged between a vehicle body and a wheel carrier of the motor vehicle. The spring force characteristic of the wheel spring device can be modified by controlling an actuating device. A sensor detects a prediction variable representing the vertical profile of a route ahead in the direction of travel of the motor vehicle. A control device controls the actuating device as a function of the detected prediction variable in such a way that the spring force characteristic of the wheel spring device is adapted in a predictive fashion to the course of the sensed vertical profile of the route ahead in the direction of travel of the motor vehicle.
Abstract: In a method for operating an exhaust-gas cleaning unit of a diesel engine including a particle filter and a nitrogen oxide storage device arranged upstream of the particle filter, wherein sulfur regeneration of the nitrogen oxide storage device is performed periodically at raised exhaust gas temperatures and, in certain phases, with a rich exhaust gas composition, and also soot regeneration of the particle filter is performed at raised exhaust gas temperatures with a lean exhaust gas composition, at least some of the sulfur regeneration and the soot regeneration phases are performed in a combined soot and sulfur regeneration phase, and for the sulfur regeneration, at least temporarily, a rich exhaust-gas composition with a temperature higher than the temperature of the lean exhaust gas composition is provided for the soot regeneration of the particle filter.

Abstract: In a method of operating a drive train of a motor vehicle including a drive motor with a multi-unit transmission including an unsynchronized main transmission and a synchronized output drive unit, wherein, for performing a shift in the unsynchronized main transmission, a speed synchronization is carried out by means of the drive motor for the engagement of a target gear and, in an emergency mode of the drive motor, a clutch arranged between the drive motor and the main transmission is disengaged, the output gear unit is placed into neutral, the target gear is engaged, the output drive unit is placed into a drive position and the clutch is at least partially engaged.
Abstract: Processing of image data relating to moving scenarios, especially for recognizing and tracking objects located therein, requires identifying corresponding pixels or image areas in the individual successive image data sets. Likewise, processing of stereo images requires identifying the data areas which correspond to each other in two images that are recorded substantially at the same time from different angles of vision. According to the novel method of analyzing correspondences in image data sets, the image data sets that are to be compared are transformed using a signature operator such that a signature string is calculated for each pixel and is stored in a signature table allocated to the individual image data sets along with the pixel coordinates in a first step.
Abstract: In a camshaft adjusting device including a positioning actuator for adjusting a phase position of a camshaft with respect to a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, wherein the camshaft is driven by the crankshaft via a drive input, and a base drive torque of the camshaft is provided by a positioning actuator, a spring element is arranged between the camshaft and the crankshaft and has a spring torque selected so as to compensate for at least part of a mean load torque of a load unit connected to the camshaft to be driven thereby and at most only a part of the base drive torque.

Abstract: A fuel supply system for a fuel cell stack includes a cathode gas supply line for supplying an oxidant to the cathode input of the fuel cell stack and an anode gas supply line for supplying fuel to the anode input of the fuel cell stack. An anode gas recirculation line recirculates partially used anode gas from the anode output to the anode input while a purge line may be connected for conducting away the partially used anode gas, as a purge gas from the anode gas recirculation line into the cathode gas supply line. The supply system also includes a conditioning arrangement disposed upstream of the cathode input. The conditioning arrangement is designed to a) mix a partial flow of the oxidant with the purge gas in a mixing station, b) compress accelerate, and/or heat the partial flow or the mixed flow, and c) conduct the mixed flow into the cathode gas supply line.

Abstract: In a method and apparatus for the operation of a vehicle having a battery with a plurality of series or parallel connected individual cells, a coolant flows through the respective cell housings and/or a battery housing that encloses the entire battery. The coolant is delivered within a coolant circuit by a pump unit, and is thermally coupled with a refrigerant circuit through a heat exchanger. A refrigeration compressor placed in the refrigerant circuit is thermally coupled with the coolant circuit through the heat exchanger, depending on a current ambient temperature and/or a current speed of the vehicle. The speed of the refrigeration compressor may be regulated depending on the current ambient temperature and/or the current speed of the vehicle.
