Abstract: A control valve for increasing or reducing the air pressure in a tire of a vehicle wheel that is to be carried out over a short period of time, has a valve chamber that is connected, on one side, to the interior of the tire and, on the other side, to a supply duct. The valve chamber has a space that extends axially through the wheel hub, the interior end of this space being sealed off with respect to an axle part carrying the vehicle wheel. In this space, an automatically closing valve member is arranged that can be controlled into its open position against the interior pressure of the tire by a control piston that is also guided in this space and can be acted upon by a pressure medium. For supplying air to and removing air from the tire, the axle part projects into an axial duct of the control piston with a cylindrical projection that is penetrated by the supply duct.
Abstract: A device for the contactless indirect electrical measurement of the torque at a shaft utilizing the Matteucci effect in which the shaft is located in an induced magnetic direct-axis field. Upon torsion of the shaft, the change in magnetization in the shaft itself is not measured, but rather a measuring layer applied to the shaft is metrologically detected by the device. In order to avoid disturbing influences from the basic magnetization of the shaft on the measuring layer, a further layer is applied to the shaft, which short-circuits the magnetic flux resulting from the basic magnetization of the shaft, the measuring layer being magnetically decoupled from the inner layer by a highly nonmagnetic layer between the inner, further layer and the measuring layer.
Abstract: The self-locking revolute joint can be adjusted at angles by turning an activation lever back and forth. It has a mount in which a bearing shaft rests rotatably in bearings, and supports an adjustment wheel which is provided with tooth profiles. The activation lever can be turned in both rotational directions around a turning axle resting in bearings in the mount; it has two swing-out carriers which do not engage with the adjustment wheel when the activation lever is in its central position; when the activation lever is turned, one of them engages with an adjacent tooth profile of the adjustment wheel and brings it to turn. Further, two locking arms rest rotatably in bearings at the mount and lock and adjustment wheel when the activation lever is in its central position. Each one of two radial cams arranged on the activation arm confunctions with a locking arm, via a release arm.

Abstract: A process for the load-dependent control of a hydraulic drive for a compressor arranged at an internal-combustion engine, the compressor being driven by a hydraulic motor that, in turn, is acted upon by pressure from a hydraulic pump, the internal-combustion engine itself driving the hydraulic pump. In order to ensure a relatively high compressor speed as early as during the idling operation of the internal-combustion engine, and have available an optimal torque for a positive load change, while keeping minimal the additional fuel consumption required for the hydraulic drive, during the idling operation of the internal-combustion engine, the hydraulic pump is adjusted into the full-delivery position and the hydraulic motor is adjusted into the minimum intake position.
Abstract: An anti-theft arrangement for a sound-reproducing apparatus, such as a radio, installed into a mounting compartment of a motor vehicle whose contact arrangement assures a high functioning reliability both during the driving operation as well as during service and installation operation as also during unauthorized removal of the apparatus.

Abstract: A brake system with hydraulic power assistance having a control valve which connects a fluid pressure to a brake booster for normal braking and disables the brake booster and connects fluid pressure to a counterpiston which moves an output piston enlarging the output pressure space and thereby lowering the brake pressure during antilock control. The source of pressure may be a brake pedal proportional booster pressure derived from an auxiliary pressure source or may be the auxiliary pressure source itself.
Abstract: A cup tappet is disclosed which has a hydraulic play compensation device for a breather valve of an internal-combustion engine. The play compensation device includes a play compensating element which is composed of components of the cup and of the valve shank in order to simplify the cup tappet structurally.
Abstract: The invention relates to an axle suspension means for motor vehicles, wherein the guide means of a rigid axle is constructed so that the latter changes its position in the sense of a positive oblique springing during inward spring stroke movements, and executes no inherent steering movements during one-sided and alternate-side inward and outward spring strokes. For this purpose the rigid axle is guided on each side by a pair of guiding control arms which determine, for its wheel axis, a pivot axis about which the wheel axis is movable by means of a guide arm retained on the vehicle body in the sense of the positive oblique springing during inward spring stroke movements.
Abstract: A vehicle axle transmission is located between inwardly protruding wall indentations of a chassis trough-shaped bodywork of the vehicle structure and is retained by acceptance elements which are mounted to and inserted from the outside into these wall indentations into casing parts of the axle transmission such that it becomes unnecessary either to arrange and work on the corresponding transmission bearings or to carry out the necessary assembly and dismantling work within the chassis trough.
Abstract: A vent arrangement for fuel tanks of motor vehicles which includes an expansion tank, with which is connected an expansion line extending horizontally in the vehicle transverse direction which includes two line sections extending in mutually opposite directions, of which one terminates in the atmosphere and prevents an outflow of fuel in the turned-over head position of the fuel tank.

Abstract: In the case of a seat, particularly a vehicle seat having a supporting frame, there is provided a spring system that is fastened at said supporting frame, an upholstered part that rests on said spring system, and a cover that covers said upholstered part, and for achieving a shaping tension of the upholstery, is braced in its border area in the direction of the supporting frame. The cover, in order to achieve a soft surface, is fixed a first time in the transition area from the upholstered part to the spring system, in which case this area receives a bearing capacity created by stiffening means, such as the surrounding frame, the seat shell or the dimensionally stable upholstery material, said bearing capacity being capable of absorbing the preloading forces introduced via the lower cover portion, without repercussion on the area of the upholstered part that is on the side of the seat surface.

Abstract: A valve arrangement with a main shifting valve and a pilot control valve in which the main shifting valve controls the connection between an inlet line and an outlet line. Depending on the position of the pilot control valve, a control pressure space is connected with the inlet line and is therewith acted upon with the inlet pressure, respectively, is relieved of the pressure by a connection with an essentially pressureless return line in order to close, respectively, open the main shifting valve. As the inlet, outlet and return lines terminate on the same bottom side of the socket, the valve arrangement can be arranged in a particularly simple manner on a line plate of a hydraulic, respectively, pneumatic shifting arrangement.

Abstract: The invention relates to an omnibus which is suitable for train formation, can be driven independently and can either be freely steered or guided on tracks. In order not to disfigure the omnibus front by protruding coupling devices, and to be able to carry out the coupling operation without an assistant from the driver's position of the particular omnibus to be coupled, it is envisaged that at least the front coupling is designed in the form of a bar which can be extended or retracted under remote control. In the extended state, the bar can be moved under control within limits and can be engaged with the counter coupling head of the omnibus in front. The coupled omnibuses of a train are simultaneously and uniformly controlled from the driver's position of the first omnibus with regard to all their traction and braking functions.
Abstract: In a bearing arrangement of a differential casing of a differential transmission in an axle transmission light metal casing of a motor vehicle, a bearing intermediate sleeve is inserted in a bearing eye of the axle transmission casing so that it cannot move. An axle journal of the differential casing is supported by a conical roller bearing on the bearing intermediate sleeve and one shaft end of a driven shaft of the differential gear is supported by a shaft bearing in the bearing intermediate sleeve. In order to achieve a compact and light structure despite high bearing forces, provision is made for the axle transmission casing to consist of aluminum and to be formed integrally with the bearing eye. The bearing intermediate sleeve also consists of aluminum and a rolling contact bearing is used for the associated shaft bearing.
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injection pump for internal-combustion engines having element pistons that are arranged in the pump housing and are guided in element sleeves in a longitudinally slidable way, each of said element pistons having a collar with flattened areas that in a torsionally fixed but axially slidable way is guided in a control sleeve that is connected with the control rod of the fuel injection pump and is disposed on the element sleeve so that it can be turned. In order to eliminate the play between the control sleeve and the element piston, a spring is provided between the collar of the element piston and the control sleeve that rests flexibly against it, or the control sleeve is designed to be slotted in such a way that it elastically reaches around the element piston.
