Abstract: An automatic dishwashing detergent composition is described which comprises 0.01 to 1.0% of a fatty acid having from 12 to 22, preferably from 16 to 18, carbon atoms in the acyl radical and are preferably unsaturated; 0.1 to 2% of a carrier containing a ketone which has at least 25 carbon atoms; 0.5 to 40% of a surfactant; 0.1 to 10 weight % of a proteolytic enzyme; 1 to 30 weight % of a bleaching agent selected from the group of a peroxygen or hypohalite agent; and 1 to 75% of a builder providing a composition having a pH of less than about 11. Specifically, the detergent composition must have a weight ratio of long-chain ketone/carrier to fatty acid of 5:1 to 1:1, preferably from 4:1 to 2:1. A method of using the composition is also described.

Abstract: Inha enzyme crystals and methods of growing said crystals are presented. Three crystal forms of the Inha enzyme with discrete unit cell parameters were obtained. The crystals of the Inha enzyme are of sufficient size and quality for x-ray crystallographic determination of the three dimensional structure of the Inha enzyme in concert with heavy atom derivatives of said crystals. Abstract: The brake energy balancing system balances brake torque of braking wheels of a vehicle having a plurality of cars carried by trucks, for applying and controlling the brakes of each group of braking wheels of the trucks of the vehicle. Brake torque is measured, a command brake torque signal is generated that is limited by a reference torque signal, and the command brake torque signal is compared with the measured brake torque to generate brake torque difference signals. An energy balancing brake application control signal is provided to the brakes in response to the brake torque difference signals.
Abstract: Patent application that covers the concept of a conditioner sheet coated with a solubilised rinse conditioners comprising a fabric softening compound and a solubilising agent. The dryer sheets softens at low temperatures and is non-staining. The invention works particularly well with HEQ.

Abstract: An electronic prepress system for electronically preparing and outputting images onto image receiving materials includes a computer for generating and storing color separated images in electronic files. A processor processes the electronic files received from the computer and converts the electronic files to rasterized image files. The rasterized image files are accepted by the scan engine from the processor. Abstract: The invention is concerned with compositions comprising novel water-dispersible copolymers which contain at least one UVA light-absorbing monomer, one UVB light-absorbing monomer, one hydrophilic monomer, and optionally one hydrophobic monomer component. The UVA light-absorbing monomer absorbs at .lambda.max ultraviolet light in the 320-400 nm range. The UVB light-absorbing monomer absorbs at .lambda.max ultraviolet light in the 290-320 nm range.
