Abstract: Disclosed are methods for treating gastrointestinal disorders, e.g., Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and diverticular disease, with a granulated mesalamine formulation. Some formulations use granulated mesalamine in capsule form. Also included are methods to extend remission of ulcerative colitis by administration of a once-daily dosage of granulated mesalamine.
Abstract: A motor vehicle has an internal combustion engine (1) that is supplied with fuel from a fuel tank (4). A regeneratable filter device (6) is associated with the fuel tank (4) and can be connected to a vacuum storage device (20) for purging the filter device (6). Abstract: A method is provided for operating a hybrid vehicle. The hybrid vehicle has an internal combustion engine and a first electric machine, to which a common input shaft of a transmission is assigned, for driving a first axle of the hybrid vehicle. The hybrid vehicle also has a second electric machine for driving a second axle of the hybrid vehicle, and a traction battery is provided for the two electric machines. The electric machines have a total power greater than the power of the internal combustion engine. The method includes operating the first electric machine in a generator mode for charging the traction battery when the hybrid vehicle is driven exclusively by internal combustion engine. The method ensures, with a high level of electrification, a long electromotive travelling range of the vehicle.

Abstract: A component housing in a motor-vehicle drive train is sealed by pressurization of the housing interior. The component is a hybrid module (1) comprising at least one electric machine provided between the combustion engine (VM) and the gearing (G) of the motor-vehicle drive train. The pressurization is achieved by a rotating component (R, RA, M, F) of the hybrid module. The rotating component is designed in a manner similar to an impeller of a centrifugal pump.
