Abstract: A boat trailer has a unitary fender having a base to which there is attached a light and license plate support bar. The unitary fender is attached to the trailer running gear by suitable brackets and bolts. The light support bar is pivotably attached at one end to the base near the center thereof and is releasably fastened to the base near the rear of the fender. A bracket for supporting a lamp and license plate is attached to the opposite end of the bar. Electrical wires extend from the vehicle's electrical system through the fender and bar to the lamp. The bar is fastened to the base in such a fashion that the lamp and license plate are repositionable from the rear of the trailer where the lamp and license plate are located during over-the-road travel to a position forward of the fender prior to launching a boat from the trailer. In this regard, the bar is released from the base of the fender and rotated 180.degree.

Abstract: Water-borne reaction products of (a) carboxyl-functional polymers; (b) polyepoxides; and (c) tertiary amines are blended with (d) carboxyl-functional polymers having an acid number dissimilar to that of (a). The resulting products are useful as film-forming components of coating compositions which can be spray-, flow-, dip-, roller-, or electro-coated and are especially useful for spray coating the inside of two-piece tin-plated steel cans of beverages and food. The coating compositions are useful as such or can be crosslinked with crosslinking agents such as a nitrogen resin.

Abstract: A spectral photometer including a filter wheel driven by a synchronous motor and an analysis circuit. Interference effects of the power line on the output of the photometer are cancelled by provision of a speed changer to achieve each revolution of the filter wheel in the time required for a set, odd number of power line half-cycles to the motor.
Abstract: Thermally coalescible acrylic resin dispersions comprising particles of single-phase, surfactant-free, random acrylic polymers or copolymers, containing at least 80% by weight of acrylic units, dispersed in a surfactant-free medium that comprises a compatible liquid plasticizer that is nonvolatile at room temperature and is not a monomer of any of the polymeric components. Incorporation of a photopolymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated compound provides photosensitive dispersions useful for making relief and planographic printing plates, photoresists, and the like.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for dispensing granular material from a storage box container. The device includes a housing, having substantially vertical side walls and a receiving base, the receiving base having three planar surfaces all of which are located substantially within the vertical side walls and at right angles to the vertical side walls being located so as to retain a storage box container at an adequate angle to permit gravity flow of granular material. The apparatus also contains a main rail connected to the underside of the mentioned housing, the main rail having sliding structure capable of receiving a main slide so as to permit forward and reverse movement of the main slide within said main rail, the mail rail also having an opening therein coinciding with the dispensing opening of the housing and having a recess therein around its opening for receiving a gasket, with the gasket being fixedly located within the recess.
Abstract: A process is described for printing dyes onto textile material comprising the steps of forming a latent magnetic image in a magnetic imaging member comprising a ferromagnetic material on an electrically conductive support; developing the magnetic image by applying thereto a ferromagnetic toner comprising a ferromagnetic component, a dye component which is substantially sublimable at less than 215.degree. C.
Abstract: A press and press method wherein an article is shaped by displacing a tool thereagainst in a plurality of time-spaced main strokes separated by intervals in which the energy for the main strokes is stored in a force-storing element such as a rod under tension and during these intervals, the tool continues to be advanced against the article by an auxiliary motor. The apparatus utilizes a lever pivotally connected to a support, to the force-storing element and to the tool. The main drive motor acts on this lever.

Abstract: A process is described for dyeing a disperse dyeable material such as a textile or film comprising the steps of forming an image comprising a dye component which is substantially sublimable at from about 160.degree. to 215.degree. C., on a film of a thermally stable resin which is permeable to said dye component covering the dye image with a paper web or a resinous material and bringing the film into contact with a disperse dyeable material to be dyed while the film and disperse dyeable material are rotated upon a heated drum, with the disperse dyeable material facing the surface of the film opposite the side supporting the image, to thereby transfer said dye component from the film to the textile material.
Abstract: A solid state, band-pass filtered, RF power amplifier for equalizing the response of an amplified RF signal across the entire tuning range of a multi channel transmitter is disclosed. An RF signal is applied to the input of a low noise FET amplifier with a portion of the signal coupled off into a frequency counter which in conjunction with a digital switching logic selects a path through a band-pass filter having characteristics that reduce the broadband noise of the RF signal passed therethrough. Additionally, a dual directional coupler samples the output of the power amplifier with the forward sampled signal being used to control the amplifier output to a preselected level and the reverse sampled signal being used to reduce the amplifier output signal in proportion to an increase in the voltage standing wave ratio load between the amplifier and the transmit/receive switch.
