  • Patent number: 7537673
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a plasma processing apparatus, which generates plasma within a vacuum chamber to process semiconductor substrates using the plasma. The apparatus comprises a substrate mounting table, an outer lifting bar, and a baffle. The outer lifting bar comprises a driving shaft, and a substrate supporting member coupled perpendicular to an upper end of the driving shaft. The baffle comprises a baffle plate coupled to the upper end of the driving shaft, and a shielding portion coupled to a lower surface of the baffle plate. The substrate supporting member is a foldable substrate supporting member. The baffle and the substrate supporting member are driven up and down at the same time by the driving shaft. As a result, it is possible to protect the substrate supporting member from plasma, and to prevent interference between the baffle and the outer lifting bar during operation of the plasma processing apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7536891
Abstract: A roll-forming or bending machine is provided for forming an angled or rounded and simultaneously tapered hollow body or similar workpiece from a material blank. The machine has at least one tapered roll and at least one counter element, between which a forming pressure can be applied to the material blank. The one counter element has an elastic surface and is constructed as a bending table for supporting the material blanks, so that the one or more rolls apply forming pressure on the material blank on the bending table. The bending table is guided so that it can move in the longitudinal direction and can rotate about a rotational axis, and the rolls can move perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, allowing a change in the relative position of the roll and rotational axis of the bending table caused by a rotational movement of the bending table to be compensated.

  • Patent number: 7534399
Abstract: A hazardous gas abatement system decontaminates an exit gas stream containing global warming gases using an electrical heater and a water scrubber. One or more top flow hazardous gas inlets introduce hazardous gases into a heater compartment. Air or oxygen is introduced into a separate chamber for dynamic oxidation and cooling. The streams are mixed and oxygen reacts with the hazardous gases. Solid particulates from the reaction are removed by a filter in a quick disconnect bottom chamber. Filtered exhaust gases flow upward in an exhaust chamber surrounding the heater compartment and through water spray scrubbers. A cleaning ring mounted on an eccentric rod cleans particles from the outside of the internal heater, and the inside of the external heater. An air cylinder drives the eccentric rod and cleaning ring down and up between the heaters and stores the ring above the gas inlets.
