Abstract: An opposed type fulcrum member of a lever detector is constituted by a main body part having a U-shaped section and thin-walled parts each formed in opposed positions of two sides of the main body part, and two ends of the U-shaped main body part can rock, with the tin-walled parts serving as fulcrums. By performing the U-shaped working and thin-walled working of the main body part by press forming, a low-cost, uniform opposed type fulcrum member is obtained and it is possible to reduce the cost of the whole lever detector.

  • Patent number: 6944840
Abstract: Each flip-flop-to-flip-flop path delay and a target machine cycle obtained in the stages of physical design and packaging design are used as input, and with respect to a path in which the path delay is not less than the target machine cycle, a closed loop including the path is extracted, and the timing of a clock signal of each flip-flop is adjusted so as to permit data transmission along the closed loop in a required cycle-number. At this time, a path along which data transmission is impossible in the target machine cycle or a closed loop including the path is listed in order to be modified. As methods of supplying a clock signal to each flip-flop, a plurality of methods different in the adjustable range of clock timing are combined and used.

  • Patent number: 6941908
Abstract: An engine includes, a cylinder head, an intake valve, an exhaust valve, and a first clearance adjusting mechanism for actuating the intake valve. The first clearance adjusting mechanism (1) maintains a first valve clearance when the intake valve and the cylinder head are in a cold state, such that the intake valve closes after a bottom dead center, and (2) maintains a second valve clearance, shorter than the first valve clearance, when a temperature of the intake valve is in a hot state and a temperature of the cylinder head is still in the cold state, after a cold start of the engine, such that an open timing of the intake valve is advanced and a close timing of the intake valve is retarded. The exhaust valve opens and closes at fixed predetermined timings regardless of a temperature of the exhaust valve and the cylinder head.

  • Patent number: 6942202
Abstract: The invention disclosed is a compact and lightweight hybrid pneumatic-magnetic isolator-actuator capable of large force, substantial stroke and bandwidth actuation with near frictionless operation and vibration isolation with very low break frequency. Pneumatic and magnetic forces are applied to a single carriage comprised primarily of a coaxially arranged air piston and coil. The carriage is driven relative to a frame or housing including an internally mounted cylindrical piston sleeve and magnetic actuator body. A combination of air bearings and air bearing piston construction provide for frictionless motion of the carriage relative to the frame. The pneumatic piston provides the actuation force for both static loads and low frequency dynamic loads. An integrally mounted sensor and control unit determine the pressure error resulting at the pneumatic piston.

  • Patent number: 6942478
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging mold with electrostatic discharge protection comprising a pot block and at least one receiver. The pot block comprises a plurality of pots and runners. Each of the pots branches and connects the runners for injecting molding compound into the runners through the pots. The receiver for supporting a plurality of substrate plates connects the runners for receiving the molding compound from the runners to package the dice on the substrate plates. Each receiver comprises a receiving surface contacting the substrate plate; wherein the receiving surface is roughened to reduce static electric charges generated when separating the substrate plates and the packaging mold. Additionally, the surfaces of the runners are roughened to reduce static electric charges generated in the runners when separating the molding compound and the runners. It prevents the dice packaged from damage due to static electric charges to raise the yield rate of semiconductor package products thereby.
