  • Publication number: 20050194504
Abstract: The crisscross fulcrum according to the present invention is formed as a continuous member by fabricating one elastic member in the form of a plate. Therefore, the rocking fulcrum member can be obtained as a precise fulcrum member at a low cost with reduced variations in the spring characteristic and can be easily assembled. Additionally, in the present invention, it is preferable that a heat treatment should be performed on the crisscross spring formed by fabricating the one elastic member in the form of a plate. By the heat treatment performed after fabricating for forming the crisscross spring, the spring characteristic is improved.

  • Patent number: 6940935
Abstract: Local source data is first sampled at an original sampling rate and then resampled at a first resampling rate which is equal to the framing rate for transmitting said data to the remote source. The resampled local source data is then delayed by the transmission time between the local and remote data sources. The data from the remote relay which is resampled at the remote source at the first resampling rate and the delayed resampled data at the local source are both then resampled at a second resampling rate, at an original sampling rate, to produce aligned data at the local source.

  • Patent number: 6939790
Abstract: A bumping process, which is a method of forming a plurality of bumps over a wafer, is provided. The wafer has an active surface having a passivation layer and a plurality of bonding pads thereon. The passivation layer exposes the bonding pads on the active surface. An adhesion layer is formed over the active surface of the wafer covering both the bonding pads and the passivation layer. A metallic layer is formed over the adhesion layer. The adhesion layer and the metallic layer are patterned, so that the adhesion layer and the metallic layer remain on top of the bonding pads. A photoresist layer is formed on the active surface of the wafer. The photoresist layer has a plurality of openings that exposes the metallic layer. Next, solder balls with a solidified material on the surface of each solder ball are disposed into each opening. Then, a reflow process is carried out, so that the solder balls bond with the metallic layer. Finally, the photoresist layer is removed.

  • Patent number: 6939110
Abstract: A system for maintaining constant pressure, such as at a mosquito fogging nozzle, by electronically controlling the speed of an engine that is coupled to a blower. A pressure sensor measures the pressure provided by the blower and provides a pressure signal to the electronic engine controller. The engine controller is of the proportional-integral (PI) type and utilizes pulse-width modulation (PWM) techniques to control an electromechanical actuator attached to the throttle of the engine to vary the engine speed. Constant pressure is maintained despite changes in the ambient temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. A safety circuit prevents engine over-speed if the pressure signal is lost. An over-speed circuit monitors and controls the engine speed at higher RPMs.

  • Patent number: 6938655
Abstract: A septum for chemical containers comprises a body, a first port through the body having a first interior diameter sufficient to permit a flow of a fluid through the first port, and a second bore through the body having a second interior diameter less than the first interior diameter. The second interior diameter is sufficiently small as to restrict passage of vapors evaporated from within the container. In this configuration, vapors are safely exhausted outside a work facility, and a chemical container that would be classified as Use-Open under applicable fire codes is converted to Use-Closed, enabling the work facility to increase the volume of chemicals that may be contained or used in the facility under the code, without upgrade to Hazardous Occupancy standards, or building new facilities that qualify as Hazardous Occupancy and that can use Use-Open chemical containers.
