Abstract: A human body communication device includes an electrode, a matching circuit, a switch providing a first path electrically connected to the matching circuit and a second path electrically connected to the matching circuit, a sensor, in a first state, connected to the matching circuit through the switch, outputting a first sensing signal to the matching circuit, and outputting a second sensing signal when a difference between a signal generated from the matching circuit in response to the first sensing signal and the first sensing signal is greater than or equal to a threshold, a transmitter, in a second state, connected to the matching circuit through the switch, and outputting a data signal to the matching circuit, and a controller controlling the switch from the first state to the second state in response to receiving the second sensing signal from the sensor, in the first state.

Abstract: The invention is a special designed pattern heterogeneous substrate, which is epitaxially deposited on a heterogeneous substrate by two step growth, and a thermal cycle annealing is added to reduce the lattice mismatch between the layers and the difference in thermal expansion coefficient, thereby obtaining a better stress. The quality of the semiconductor epitaxial layer is improved, and the present invention can easily grasp the timing of stress release when the semiconductor is grown on the heterogeneous substrate, avoid cracks in the semiconductor epitaxial layer, and form a crack free zone in the middle of the semiconductor epitaxial layer.

Abstract: Disclosed is an antioxidant for a polymer electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell including cerium hydrogen phosphate (CeHPO4). The presence of cerium hydrogen phosphate in the antioxidant enhances the dissolution stability of cerium and improves the ability to capture water, leading to an increase in proton conductivity. In addition, the cerium hydrogen phosphate has a crystal structure composed of smaller cerium particles. This crystal structure greatly improves the ability of the antioxidant to prevent oxidation of the electrolyte membrane. Also disclosed are an electrolyte membrane including the antioxidant, a fuel cell including the electrolyte membrane, a method for preparing the antioxidant, a method for producing the electrolyte membrane, and a method for fabricating the fuel cell.

In one embodiment, a method of automatically generating solver code for a nonlinear model predictive control solver includes receiving an optimal control problem code, wherein the optimal control problem code represents an optimal control problem comprising a cost function, one or more constraints, and a continuous time model representing dynamics of a system. The method further includes receiving a discretization method preference, a linearization point preference, and a parameter specification, and encoding the optimal control problem into an optimization problem by discretizing the optimal control problem according to the discretization method preference, and linearizing the optimal control problem according to the linearization point preference. The method further includes generating the solver code from the optimization problem.

The transitional layer and the electrode layer which are developed in the present invention and which are suitable for a Mg—Sb-based thermoelectric material have great significance and prospects in application. The electrode layer enable the Mg—Sb-based thermoelectric material to have an opportunity to enter the market and realize commercialization.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices and methods of detecting and mitigating oscillatory instabilities in systems with turbulent flow, such as thermoacoustic, aeroacoustic or aeroelastic equipment. Methods for robust prediction of the state of stability are also disclosed. A neural ordinary differential equation (ODE) method of predicting stability or instability is disclosed, involving forming a neural network that incorporates an equation characteristic of the operational state.

Abstract: The present disclosure seeks to perform real-time video streaming on a mobile device toward maintaining user QoE even under bandwidth constraints while being acceptable to the lightweight computing capacity of the mobile device. To this end, the embodiments apply deep neural network-based SR to a small number of pre-selected video frames and utilize the video frames to which SR is applied to enhance the resolution of the remaining frames, wherein the pre-selected frames are chosen for SR within a preset quality margin. Abstract: The present invention minimizes parasitic inductance at the time of packaging a semiconductor that requires high efficiency and high-speed switching driving. In implementing a semiconductor package composed of one or more switching devices and one or more diode devices, the present invention provides a flip-stack structure in which a switching device is mounted on an insulating substrate or a metal frame, a flat metal is bonded onto the switching device, and a diode device is flipped and stacked on the flat metal, and accordingly, the flat metal with a large area is used for connection between the devices and between the devices and the insulating substrate, thereby minimizing parasitic inductance generated at a time of semiconductor packaging and automating the entire process of the semiconductor packaging.
