Abstract: The present invention discloses a positioning method and apparatus. The method includes: acquiring a first image captured by an optical device, where the first image includes an observation object and a plurality of predetermined objects, and the predetermined objects are objects with known geographic coordinates; selecting a first predetermined object from the predetermined objects based on the first image; acquiring a second image, where the first predetermined object is located in a center of the second image; determining a first attitude angle of the optical device based on the first predetermined object in the second image and measurement data captured by an inertial navigation system; modifying the first attitude angle based on a positional relationship between the observation object and the first predetermined object in the second image, to obtain a second attitude angle; and calculating geographic coordinates of the observation object based on the second attitude angle.
Abstract: A bit interleaver, a bit-interleaved coded modulation (BICM) device and a bit interleaving method are disclosed herein. The bit interleaver includes a first memory, a processor, and a second memory. The first memory stores a low-density parity check (LDPC) codeword having a length of 64800 and a code rate of 3/15. The processor generates an interleaved codeword by interleaving the LDPC codeword on a bit group basis. The size of the bit group corresponds to a parallel factor of the LDPC codeword. The second memory provides the interleaved codeword to a modulator for 256-symbol mapping.

Abstract: Resource consumption associated with executing a bootstrapping process on a computing device can be reduced. For example, a system can receive a dataset including observations. The system can then instantiate one or more thread objects configured to execute a bootstrapping process that involves multiple iterations. Each iteration can involve: determining a respective set of probabilities based on an observation distribution associated with the dataset, executing a function based on the respective set of probabilities to determine a respective metric value, and storing the respective metric value in memory. This iterative process may be faster and less computationally intensive than traditional bootstrapping approaches. After completing the iterative process, the system may access the memory to obtain the metric values, determine a distribution of metric values based on at least some of the metric values, and store the distribution of metric values in the memory for further use.

Abstract: According to an irrigation method based on water usage characteristics and real-time weather condition during different crop growth stages, whether the crops are in a shortage of water in the growth is determined based on an actual soil water content, a water usage amount of the crops during the given growth stage, and a rainfall amount during the next day. If the shortage of water occurs, the actual water usage amount of the crops is calculated, and a water pump can be self-adaptively turned on to water the crops and an administrator is informed when the reservoir has an insufficient water storage, according to the relation between the water storage amount of the reservoir and the actual water usage amount.

Abstract: A hardware configuration is constructed for calculating at high speed the co-occurrence of luminance gradient directions between differing resolutions for a subject image. In an image processing device, a processing line for high-resolution images, a processing line for medium-resolution images, and a processing line for low-resolution images are arranged in parallel, and the luminance gradient directions are extracted for each pixel simultaneously in parallel from images having the three resolutions. Co-occurrence matrix preparation units prepare co-occurrence matrices by using the luminance gradient directions extracted from these images having the three resolutions, and a histogram preparation unit outputs a histogram as an MRCoHOG feature amount by using these matrices. To concurrently processing the images having the three resolutions, high-speed processing can be performed, and moving pictures output from a camera can be processed in real time.
