    Abstract: A walking operator type cultivator comprising a rotary plow, a ground engaging member for setting a plowing depth, and a position adjusting mechanism for raising and lowering the ground engaging member. The position adjusting member is automatically controllable according to signals transmitted by an inclination sensor detecting fore and aft inclinations of the cultivator. The cultivator further comprises a mechanism for stopping the automatic control of the position adjusting mechanism which is necessary under certain operating conditions of the vehicle. As a trigger for this control stopper mechanism a plowing clutch, a propelling system clutch or the inclination sensor is used.

The harvesting hand includes a vacuum pad for drawing and catching the fruit, and a calyx cutting device. The vacuum pad and cutting device are movable relative to each other between a first position in which the vacuum pad is disposed forwardly of the cutting device for approaching and drawing the fruit and a second position in which the cutting device is disposed forwardly of the vacuum pad for removing the fruit from its tree.

A forward drive condition is provided when the carrier and the second sun gear are connected to each other by an operation of a hydraulic clutch, and a backward drive condition is provided when the second sun gear is fixed to a stationary case by an operation of a hydraulic brake.

    Abstract: In an intake manifold for a multi-cylinder air-fuel mixture suction type engine according to the present invention, the manifold body is formed into a simplified hollow shell-shape which is elongate bilaterally. And a carburetor is installed on the one end side of the front wall of the manifold body in the state of facing obliquely to the other end side of the back plane thereof. Therefore, the liquid fuel particles in the air-fuel mixture sucked into the manifold body from the carburetor are distributed nearly uniformly to every cylinder through each intake port arranged bilaterally in the back plane of the manifold body, and hence the density of the air-fuel mixture in every cylinder can be nearly uniformized.

    Abstract: A four wheel drive vehicle with dirigible front wheels, comprising a main propelling drive transmission, and a front wheel drive transmission connected to the main transmission. The front wheel drive transmission is switchable between a first four wheel drive mode in which the front wheels and the rear wheels are driven at a substantially equal peripheral speed and a second four wheel drive mode in which the front wheels are driven at a higher peripheral speed than the rear wheels. The front wheel drive transmission includes a piston operable by a hydraulic control system including a control valve mechanically interlocked to a steering section of the vehicle for switching the front wheel drive transmission from the first drive mode to the second drive mode. The piston, which normally is biased toward a position for the first drive mode, is movable against the biasing force to a position for the second drive mode when the front wheels are steered to an angle exceeding a predetermined angle.

The main body portion includes a first engagement member extending along an upper rear edge thereof, and the lid member includes a second engagement member extending along a free end edge thereof. One of the first and second engagement members defines a slit which is vertically directed when in an engaged position, and the other defines a projection engageable with the slit.

Each tilting cylinder extends longitudinally of the vehicle and is positioned above and close to the corresponding main frame in the vicinity of the front wheel fender inside thereof. The tilting cylinder is connected to a bracket on the main frame in the vicinity of and above the front axle and terminates at a position below the steering assembly of the vehicle. The arrangement of the cylinders permits the device to be positioned close to the vehicle body, enabling the driver to obtain a good forward view. The vehicle body is reinforced by the main frames against fracture.
