Abstract: Described herein is a content management system that tokenizes and stores documents using a number of different tokenization settings or schemes. These tokenization settings help ensure that documents, and content associated with the documents, are tokenized in a similar manner regardless of the language of the content contained within the document.
Abstract: A system includes a processor configured to receive a navigation route. The processor is further configured to identify a toll instance on the navigation route. The processor is additionally configured to display the toll instance with a preferred payment method on a display. Also, the processor is configured to detect when a vehicle travels past a point where a toll is due for the toll instance and wirelessly instruct payment of the toll using the preferred payment method.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and media for setting up a media content streaming device are provided. In some implementations, the systems comprise: a first communication interface that is configured to provide a media output to a media content presentation device; a second communication interface that is configured to transfer data; and a hardware processor that is configured to: retrieve a setup application in response to detecting a connection between the media content streaming device and a user device via the second communication interface; cause the setup application to be launched on the user device; receive, from the user device, information relating to setting up the media content streaming device; set up the media content streaming device based on the received information relating to setting up the media content streaming device; and prompt a user to connect the media content streaming device to the media content presentation device via the second communication interface.
Abstract: A communication system is disclosed. The system can include a first communication unit including a first antenna, a second communication unit including a second antenna and a dielectric waveguide cable, and a rotary joint configured to enable the first unit to rotate with respect to the second unit about an axis of rotation of the system. The dielectric waveguide cable can extend from the second antenna to the rotary joint, where a proximal end of the cable can be coupled to the second antenna and a distal end of the cable can be affixed to the second unit at a location bordering a space defined by the rotary joint. The first and second units can be configured to engage in two-way communication with each other. An axis of the distal end of the cable can be substantially aligned with the axis of rotation of the system.
Abstract: A method provides content decisions for a personalized channel that is to be deliverable to a prescribed set of client devices as a linear channel streaming adaptive bit rate (ABR) video. In the method, a request is received for a resolution to a decision point in an ABR manifest of a linear video stream for a content asset to be inserted in the linear video stream at a specified time. The linear video stream is to be presented on the personalized channel. Responsive to the request, a network location is provided for accessing a specified content asset to be inserted in the linear video stream at the specified time.
Abstract: A method of enhancing data sharing between mobile or other computing device users includes receiving a submission request generated by user interaction with a first user interface on a first computing device, the submission request including content and associated submission data indicative of a recipient of the content, and updating a second user interface on a second computing device associated with the recipient to make the content available for display. The method may include sending a push notification to the second computing device indicating that the content is available for display for a period of time.
Abstract: Embodiments include facilitating DNA storage of digital data including a plurality of data assets in a network by building a causal graph of the network and the relationship of the data assets; computing a value of each data asset; computing, using the causal graph and data values, a radius of recovery for each data asset; classifying each data asset as appropriate DNA stored by assigning a numerical ranking of each data asset; defining manual constraints and a DNA storage configuration; and generating a ranked list of recommended data assets for storing in the DNA storage using the classification, manual constraints and DNA storage configuration.
Abstract: Systems and methods, as well as devices, are described for computer system compatibility. Computer systems exchange messages over a network or communication link according to a communication standard. A declarations of how a communication standard is implemented by a trading partner computer system is received by a host provider computer system, and an ontology model of the implementation is generated based at least in part on information in the declaration. The ontology models are queried to cause the provision of query responses indicative of differences between the trading partner implementation and a host provider implementation of the communication standard. Indications of communication compatibility between the computer systems are generated based on results of the queries against the ontology model. The indications may include augmented enforcement libraries to be implemented by the trading partner for messaging interoperability.
Abstract: A method and a turbine-compressor assembly of a system having an engine includes an upstream valve coupled with a compressor and a turbine-compressor device, a downstream valve coupled with a turbine and the device, and a controller to control the upstream, downstream, and a control valve. The controller selectively operates the device in a plurality of operating modes. In a turbine mode of operation, the upstream valve directs inlet air to the compressor, the turbine receives engine exhaust, the downstream valve directs first turbine exhaust from the turbine to the device, and the control valve directs second turbine exhaust from the device to an outlet. In a compressor mode of operation, the control valve directs the inlet air to the device, the upstream valve directs first compressed air from the device to the compressor, and the downstream valve directs the first turbine exhaust from the turbine to the outlet.

Abstract: A system for conserving power in an electronic device, in some embodiments, comprises: a battery to supply power to the electronic device; and a fuel gauge coupled to the battery and capable of operating in any of a plurality of power modes, wherein the fuel gauge selects its own power mode based on a repeated, variable-frequency sampling of a voltage provided by said battery.
Abstract: A data backup system can be implemented in a data storage enclosure that houses a backup controller. The backup controller may be connected to a storage media and a backup media via a switch. The backup media can be resassigned from an unavailable condition to an available condition by the backup controller in response to predicted degradation in the storage media. The backup media may be connected to a root complex of the backup controller via a backup partition and selection feature.
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for using a common frequency spectrum for simultaneous upstream and downstream communications in a network by implementing directional diversity techniques. Non-reciprocal coupling devices, such as circulators, may be configured in the network to provide unidirectional transmission of each signal to prevent interference. In some embodiments, feed-forward interference cancellation is utilized to increase signal isolation of upstream and downstream signals.
Abstract: A completion tool comprises a mandrel; a swellable element disposed about the mandrel; and a protective layer disposed on a surface of the swellable element and configured to inhibit diffusion of a downhole fluid to the swellable element; the protective layer comprising a degradable textile-based composite.
Abstract: A fluid flow controller includes a first body portion defining a receiving surface, a second body portion, and a fluid transfer device. The second body portion includes a controller engagement member, and is configured to couple to the first body portion such that the controller engagement member faces and is spaced from an engagement point of the receiving surface. The controller engagement member is configured to be adjusted from a first distance to a second distance closer to the engagement point than the first distance based on a force applied by a foot pedal apparatus. The fluid transfer device defines a flow channel configured to be adjusted from defining a first cross sectional area to a second, lesser cross sectional area while the controller engagement member is in contact with the first fluid transfer device and adjusted towards the second distance in response to the applied force.
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for fabricating light-emitting structures in which recesses in a carrier adhesive layer are formed after singulation of the light-emitting structures. These recesses are self-aligned with the light-emitting structures and enable a pickup adhesive layer to be formed on each of the light-emitting structures without the need for creating an etching mask or etching the pickup adhesive layer.
