  • Patent number: 10959868
Abstract: A vascular intervention device delivery system, such as for implanting a self expanding stent, includes a thumbwheel rotatably mounted in a handle. The thumbwheel includes a radially outward facing thumb surface and a radially inward facing ratchet surface of a ratchet. A catheter has a proximal end attached to the handle, and a distal carrier segment for mounting a vascular intervention device thereon. A retractable sheath is movable from a first position covering the distal carrier segment to a second position retracted proximally uncovering the distal carrier segment. A pull extends between the thumbwheel and the retractable sheath. A ratchet pawl is mounted in the handle and has a catch in contact with the ratchet surface. The ratchet holds the thumbwheel against rotation in a forward direction, and the retractable sheath moves responsive to rotation of the thumbwheel in a reverse direction.

  • Patent number: 10964126
Abstract: A device may receive transaction data relating to a transaction event associated with a user and a merchant. The transaction data may include a merchant identifier and a transaction amount. The device may process the merchant identifier to determine whether the transaction event is associated with a rate-based service. The device may obtain, based on determining that the transaction event is associated with the rate-based service, location data from a user device associated with the user. The device may determine, based on the location data, a distance or a duration associated with the rate-based service. The device may determine, based on the distance or the duration, a transaction estimate for the rate-based service. The device may determine whether the transaction amount corresponds to the transaction estimate and perform one or more actions based on determining whether the transaction amount corresponds to the transaction estimate.

  • Patent number: 10963288
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a virtualization layer capturing replayable execution traces of VMs managed by the virtualization layer. Execution tracing can be performed on any unit of execution managed by the virtualization layer, e.g., threads, processes, virtual processors, individual VMs, multiple VMs, etc. Traced execution units may be executing in parallel. Execution tracing involves capturing to a buffer: executed instructions, memory inputted to instructions, memory outputted by instructions, registers touched by instructions, and ordering markers. Trace data can be captured in chunks, where causality is preserved and ordering is preserved between chunks but not necessarily within chunks. The chunks may be delineated by inserting monotonically increasing markers between context switches, thus relatively ordering the chunks. Determinism may be partially provided by identifying non-deterministic events. VM tracing may be transparent to guest software, which need not be instrumented.

  • Patent number: 10963891
Abstract: In response to a conversion action associated with an online advertisement (“ad”), an advertiser associated with the ad generates a unique identifier (e.g., a pseudo random number), which is transmitted to a payment system through a user device. In some implementations, the unique identifier can be generated by a payment system in response to a request from an advertiser. The advertiser stores the unique identifier in a secure location that is accessible by the payment system. The payment system compares the received unique identifier with the stored unique identifier. If the received unique identifier matches the stored unique identifier, and if the received unique identifier was not previously generated by the advertiser, then the payment system deems the conversion action to be valid.
