  • Patent number: 10803614
Abstract: Multiple image verification challenges can be used to identify the location of an object within an initial image. For instance, a first set of tiles is generated using the initial image. This first set is provided to a client computing device for display in a first verification challenge requesting that the user select tiles including the object. In response, a user selection of tiles of the first set is received. These selected tiles are then used to generate a second set of tiles corresponding to a sub-portion of the initial image. The second set of tiles is provided to a client computing device for display in a second verification challenge. In response to the second verification challenge, a user selection of tiles of the second set is received. This user selection of tiles of the second set is then used to determine a location of the object in the image.

  • Patent number: 10802164
Abstract: A computer implemented method of detecting neutrons in images from a tunable sensor system comprises training a deep learning process to recognize known radiation-dependent signature patterns created by neutrons in test images. The method further comprises splitting an input image into a plurality of frames and passing the plurality of frames through the deep learning process in order to recognize neutrons in the plurality of frames. Subsequently, the method comprises recombining the plurality of frames back into the input image. For each pixel within the input image, the method comprises examining pixels connected to a respective pixel to determine if a signature pattern particular to neutrons is present within the input image and counting a number of neutrons within the input image using results from the examining.

  • Patent number: 10803136
Abstract: Digital information is transferred between an application that processes a plurality of on-line transactions executed on the mainframe computer and a file system of an operating system. A programmable processor identifies the data held in memory under control of the application. The programmable processor calls a first routine to associate a portion of the data with a container of the application and calls a second routine to dynamically allocate a file of the file system. The programmable processor opens the file of the file system and calls an input/output routine of the operating system to transfer the data associated with the container to the file of the file system.

  • Patent number: 10803463
Abstract: A system for authorizing a transaction includes one or more processors, and a memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the system to perform operations including: receiving a configuration request associated with a financial service account via a web interface; setting a limitation in accordance with the configuration request; and generating a graphic indicium or a card number as a token for authorizing a transaction, associated with the financial service account, which satisfies the limitation in accordance with the configuration request. The token is configured to be printed on a substrate or loaded into an electronic payment system.

  • Patent number: 10805640
Abstract: Techniques and tools for reducing latency in video encoding and decoding by constraining latency due to reordering of video frames, and by indicating the constraint on frame reordering latency with one or more syntax elements that accompany encoded data for the video frames. For example, a real-time communication tool with a video encoder sets a syntax element that indicates a constraint on frame reordering latency, which is consistent with inter-frame dependencies between multiple frames of a video sequence, then outputs the syntax element. A corresponding real-time communication tool with a video decoder receives the syntax element that indicates the constraint on frame reordering latency, determines the constraint on frame reordering latency based on the syntax element, and uses the constraint on frame reordering latency to determine when a reconstructed frame is ready for output (in terms of output order).

  • Patent number: 10799424
Abstract: Disclosed herein are modular container systems having child-resistant containers, tray inserts and tray frames. Also disclosed are methods using the modular container systems and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a container base and a container cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the container cap from container base with a squeeze and lift sequence. For example, the user squeezes opposite sides of the container base, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base. The components of the modular container system are modular and stackable. The modular system allow for organized, efficient, accessible and storage of the child-resistant containers. The modular container system also allows for easy counting, sorting and processing of the containers.

  • Patent number: 10805259
Abstract: Generating an improved/more accurate geolocation database is provided. Given a dataset of reverse DNS hostnames for IP addresses, ground truth information, and a hierarchical geographical database, a machine learning classifier can be trained to extract and disambiguate location information from the reverse DNS hostnames of IP addresses and to apply machine learning algorithms to determine location candidates and to select a most probable candidate for a reverse DNS hostname based on a confidence score. The classifier can be used to generate an accurate geolocation database, or to provide accurate geolocation information as a service.

  • Patent number: 10803876
Abstract: Techniques are described for performing forward and backward extrapolation of data to compensate for data that has been lost due to network packet loss. The forward and backward extrapolation can be used to perform packet loss concealment. For example, when network packet loss is detected, network packets before and after the lost data can be identified. Forward and backward extrapolation can then be applied to cover the period of lost data. For example, the network packets before the period of lost data can be used to perform forward extrapolation to cover a first portion of the period of lost data. The network packets after the period of lost data can be used to perform backward extrapolation to cover a remaining portion of the period of lost data. The period of lost data can be reconstructed based at least in part on the extrapolation.
