Abstract: Contextual awareness associated with resources can be employed to facilitate controlling access to resources of a system, including function blocks. A resource manager component (RMC) can pre-load a defined number of respective versions of configuration parameter data associated with respective applications in each resource. With regard to each application, the RMC can associate a context value, unique for each application, with the respective versions of configuration parameter data associated with that application. When a current application is being changed to a next application, the RMC can write the context value associated with the next application to a context select component (CSC). Each resource can read the context value in the CSC, identify and retrieve the version of configuration parameter data associated with the next application based on the context value, and configure the function block based on the version of configuration parameter data.

Abstract: A method of decoding JVET video, comprising defining a coding unit (CU) template within a decoded area of a video frame, the CU template being positioned above and/or to the left of a current decoding position for which data was intra predicted, defining a search window within the decoded area, the search window being adjacent to the CU template, generating a plurality of candidate prediction templates based on pixel values in the search window, each of the plurality of candidate prediction templates being generated using different intra prediction modes, calculating a matching cost between the CU template and each of the plurality of candidate prediction templates, selecting an intra prediction mode that generated the candidate prediction template that had the lowest matching cost relative to the CU template, and generating a prediction CU for the current decoding position based on the intra prediction mode.
Abstract: An optical image stabilization (OIS) system is configured to generate a still image from image frames captured during a video capture mode to provide efficient multiframe image enhancement. The OIS is configured in response to detection of a request to generate a still image during capture of a plurality of image frames of a scene by a device (such as during video capture). The configured OIS maintains a field-of-view of the scene over the subsequent, successive image frames, which are captured and used to generate the still image with less processing resources, less memory and/or less battery power.
Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing game play of a video game includes detecting selection of a video game for game play at a game cloud system. The video game is associated with a pre-recorded video of a game play session of a player and metadata related to game play of the video game. In response, the video game is executed at the game server. The execution causes the game play of the video game to be provided for rendering on a main portion of a display screen of a game client and the pre-recorded video associated with the video game provided for rendering in a second portion of the display screen while the game play is being rendered on the main portion of the display screen. The rendering of the pre-recorded video adjusted so that a game scene of the pre-recorded video matches to a game scene of the game play rendering in the main portion of the display screen.

Abstract: An implantable bone support system including a shelf clip supported on a portion of the perimeter of the skull opening. The shelf clip includes upper and lower body portions. The legs of the lower body portion are positioned such that one leg is engaged with the skull perimeter in a direction away from the skull opening. The opposing leg is positioned into the skull opening to form a portion of a shelf for receiving the bone flap or implant. In an adjustable height embodiment, the ratcheting leg of the upper body portion engages a central post, via ratchet teeth on the leg and the central post, and is pressed into engagement to capture the skull between the upper and lower body portions. The removable or locking leg is formed for engagement with the upper body portion of the clip, and engages an external surface of the bone flap or implant to capture the bone flap or implant within the shelf created by the clips within the skull opening.

Abstract: This specification discloses techniques for communicating data between a first execution context on a computing system and a second execution context on the computing system. The first execution context can execute content from a first origin, the second execution context can execute content from a second origin that is different from the first origin, and the first execution context and the second execution context can each be restricted from accessing data of the other as a result of a same-origin policy implemented by the computing system. The method can include establishing a bi-directional communication channel between the first execution context and the second execution context.
