Abstract: An AXR headset may be used for remote telemedicine applications on the battlefield to assist generalist medical care providers on the battlefield or battlefield surgical care facility with specialist care providers though shared visualization, conversation, and data. In addition, the AXR headset for warfighters permits better target acquisition and visualization system comprising an AXR headset and a digital sight capable of being mounted on a weapon, the digital sight in communication with the AXR headset. The digital sight may be an existing weapon sight with an additional digital camera added, or the digital sight may be a sighting module of a digital nature capable of sending target information to the AXR headset.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method determines a reward metric based on feedback for an instance of content. A delivery status for a delivery constraint of the instance of content is applied to the reward metric to generate a constrained reward metric. The method uses the constrained reward metric to train a model. The model is used to select from a plurality of instances of content. One of the plurality of instances of content is selected for delivery using the model.
Abstract: A transaction card having a metal layer, an opening in the metal layer for a transponder chip, and at least one discontinuity extending from an origin on the card periphery to a terminus in the opening. The card has a greater flex resistance than a card having a comparative discontinuity with the terminus and the origin the same distance from a line defined by a first long side of the card periphery in an absence of one or more strengthening features. Strengthening features include a discontinuity wherein one of the terminus or the origin are located relatively closer to the first long side of the card periphery than the other, a plurality of discontinuities wherein fewer than all extend from the card periphery to the opening, a self-supporting, non-metal layer disposed on at least one surface of the card, or one or more ceramic reinforcing tabs surrounding the opening.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for sealing perforations or cracks found in an oil well casing. The apparatus includes a hydraulic cylinder with an oil supply section at one end and a rod at another end, a cylindrical liner at least a portion of which is a malleable metal and a receiver; and a frusto-conical wedge being disposed at a lower end of the liner and fixedly connected to the rod. The method includes lowering the apparatus into the well casing and increasing hydraulic pressure to the hydraulic cylinder sufficient to pull the frusto-conical shaped wedge into the liner providing sufficient lateral force to force sufficient liner material into the perforations or cracks of the well casing to seal the well casing wall.
Abstract: A server device may receive information identifying a user of a first device participating in a screen sharing session with a second device and associate the information identifying the user of the first device with information indicating a sequence of interactions with an application at the first device. The server device may determine one or more user interface elements that correspond to a current view of the application at the first device based on the sequence of interactions, and transmit, to the second device, information identifying the one or more user interface elements that correspond to the current view to permit the second device to reconstruct the current view based on the information identifying the one or more user interface elements that correspond to the current view and stored information related to a plurality of views associated with the application.

Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more user interfaces for facilitating personal payment transactions may be provided. In some embodiments, one or more first interfaces may be generated for a payer to effectuate a personal payment transaction. A location of a user device associated with the payer may be obtained. Based on the obtained location of the user device, one or more suggested payees for presentation on the first interfaces may be provided. An indication of a selected payee (from the suggested payees) may be obtained from the payer via the first interfaces. Options to fund a personal payment to the selected payee may be provided for presentation on the first interfaces. One or more options for routing the personal payment associated with the personal payment transaction may be provided to the payer via the first interfaces.

Abstract: Geiger mode photo diodes are solid state photodetectors that are able to detect single photons. Such Geiger mode photo diodes are also referred to as single-photon detectors (SPDs). An array of SPDs can be used as a single detector element in an active sensing system, but sensor systems based on SPD arrays have at least two shortcomings due to ambient light. First, solar background light can hamper the ability to accurately determine depth. Second, ambient light impacts the reflectivity precision because of challenges differentiating between reflected light and ambient light. Embodiments enable active sensors that remove the ambient signal from a sensor's optical input. Other embodiments produce sensor intensity values that have higher precision than typical SPD array devices. Further embodiments produce sensor depth values that have higher precision than typical SPD array devices.
