Abstract: Systems and methods are described for receiving at an intermediary entity a token from a data provider that enables access to a user's data at a data provider, where the token is received without an intermediary entity receiving user credentials. A request is received from a data recipient to receive data from the data provider, where the token is required to access the data. Data may be received from the data provider using the token, and the received data may be filtered based on a data directive associated with the data provider, to identify which data the data recipient is permitted to access. The identified data may be provided to the data recipient.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for enhancing packet scheduler fairness in a small-cell wireless communication network. In one embodiment, the methods and apparatus utilize “quasi-licensed” CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) wireless spectrum in conjunction with 3GPP wireless communication network (e.g. 4G LTE or 5GNR) for the delivery of services to a number of enhanced CPE (consumer premises equipment), such as fixed wireless apparatus (FWAe). The various FWAe report Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) data to their respective serving base stations over time, and each base station both builds a statistical characterization of each FWAe, and maps the CQI data to a prescribed configuration (e.g., to the Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS)) adaptively for the transmission of the data to the FWAe, and development of a scheduler priority for each FWAe. In one implementation, once the CQI values are stable for a given FWAe, CQI reporting is terminated for a period of time.

Abstract: This document describes techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition with context-sensitive gating and other context-sensitive controls. Sensor data from a proximity sensor and/or a movement sensor produces a context of a user equipment. The techniques and systems enable the user equipment to recognize contexts when a radar system can be unreliable and should not be used for gesture-recognition, enabling the user equipment to automatically disable or “gate” the output from the radar system according to context. The user equipment prevents the radar system from transitioning to a high-power state to perform gesture-recognition in contexts where radar data detected by the radar system is likely due to unintentional input. By so doing, the techniques conserve power, improve accuracy, or reduce latency relative to many common techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition.

Abstract: A power control system for an electric vehicle comprises N power inverters configured to connect to a battery system of the electric vehicle. The N power inverters are configured to connect to stator phase windings of N electric machines, respectively. A controller is configured to determine a switching frequency for the N electric machines and (N?1) phase offsets for (N?1) ones of the N electric machines, generate a set of pulse width modulation (PWM) switching signals at the switching frequency for a first one of the N power inverters, and output (N?1) sets of PWM switching signals to the (N?1) ones of the N electric machines based on the set of PWM switching signals and the (N?1) phase offsets.

Abstract: A wall-mounted jukebox system for mounting adjacent to a wall-mounted external video display includes a jukebox having a controller configured to play digital music and/or digital video files, a communication module connected to the controller and configured for wireless and/or wired communication with one or more external devices, a video output port connected to the controller and configured to enable the jukebox to be connected to the wall-mounted external video display, and a cabinet housing the controller, communication module, and video output port. A mounting bracket is configured to receive the jukebox and to be affixed to the wall adjacent to the wall-mounted external video display. The jukebox lacks a physical user interface, a video display screen, and a physical payment acceptor, and selection of the digital music and/or digital video file for play by the controller and payment are received through the communication module from an external device.

Abstract: The present application provides an alternative fuel fast start system for a gas turbine engine with a combustor and a compressor. The alternative fuel fast start system may include an alternative liquid fuel, a thermal energy storage tank, and a vaporizer. The alternative liquid fuel is stored in the thermal energy storage tank under pressure such that releasing the alternative liquid fuel from the thermal energy storage tank vaporizes the alternative fuel. Upon start-up of the gas turbine engine, the thermal energy storage tank supplies the vaporized alternative fuel to the combustor until the vaporizer is operational. The alternative liquid fuel may be propane, ethanol, or methanol.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for fusing tissue characterization information into ultrasound images. In one example, a method includes obtaining first image data of an anatomical region of interest (ROI) of a patient, the first image data including tissue characterization information and acquired with a first imaging modality; obtaining second image data of the anatomical ROI of the patient, the second image data acquired with a second imaging modality; registering the first image data and the second image data; adjusting the second image data based on the tissue characterization information and the registration, wherein the adjusting includes filtering, adjusting colorization, adjusting brightness, and/or adjusting material appearance properties of one or more aspects of the second image data; generating a fused image from the adjusted second image data; and outputting the fused image for display and/or storage.

Abstract: A titanium dioxide pigment composition for use in a waterborne latex paint formulation is provided. The pigment composition comprises a plurality of titanium dioxide particles, and a dispersant package deposited on the surfaces of said titanium dioxide particles in an amount of no greater than about 5% by weight based on the combined weight of the titanium dioxide particles and the dispersant package. A titanium dioxide pigment composition slurry, a method of forming a titanium dioxide pigment composition, and a method of forming a titanium dioxide pigment composition slurry, all for use in a waterborne latex paint formulation, are also provided.

Abstract: An underwater light fixture and a method for making the underwater light fixture are provided. The method includes assembling a light fixture in a housing, leaving a fastener out of the light fixture, wherein an opening for the fastener fluidically couples to open volume in the housing. The housing is placed in a vacuum chamber, and a vacuum is pulled on the vacuum chamber to remove air from the open volume of the housing. A dry gas is introduced into the vacuum chamber to fill the open volume in the housing, and the fastener is installed in the light fixture to seal the open volume.

The muzzle accessories may include a suppressor, a brake, a compensator or a flash suppressor. The components may include an endcap, the end of an accessory, a muzzle or a baffle. Cutting blades are integrated into the firearm or muzzle accessory and may be integrally formed with the suppressor or compensator tube as well as with a muzzle end cap attached to the tube. When pressed into a substrate of material suitable to form a wipe the cutting blade separates a wipe from the substrate which can be readily inserted into the suppressor or compensator at the muzzle end.
