Patent number: 12270492Abstract: A raised pipeline sleeve for a pipeline includes a tubular sleeve body insertable into pipeline pipes. Recessed sleeve shoulders are radially positioned about each end of the tubular sleeve body with a central portion therebetween. An outer surface of the tubular sleeve body along the central portion is shaped to conform to an inner surface of the pipeline pipes. The recessed sleeve shoulders are recessed a distance radially below the central portion to support a pipeline seal between the recessed sleeve shoulders and the pipeline pipes. A raised hump extends radially from the central portion along the outer surface of the tubular sleeve body. As the tubular sleeve body is inserted in the pipeline pipes, the pipeline pipes engage the raised hump and conform the raised hump to the inner surface of the pipeline pipes whereby installation of the tubular sleeve body into and alignment of the tubular sleeve body about the pipeline pipes is facilitated.Type: GrantFiled: August 4, 2021Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: LPS IP, LLCInventors: Jose Anisio de Oliveira e Silva, Ryan Michael Sears

Patent number: 12271822Abstract: A method for active learning includes obtaining a set of unlabeled training samples and for each unlabeled training sample, perturbing the unlabeled training sample to generate an augmented training sample. The method includes generating, using a machine learning model, a predicted label for both samples and determining an inconsistency value for the unlabeled training sample that represents variance between the predicted labels for the unlabeled and augmented training samples. The method includes sorting the unlabeled training samples based on the inconsistency values and obtaining, for a threshold number of samples selected from the sorted unlabeled training samples, a ground truth label. The method includes selecting a current set of labeled training samples including each selected unlabeled training samples paired with the corresponding ground truth label. The method includes training, using the current set and a proper subset of unlabeled training samples, the machine learning model.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2020Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: GOOGLE LLCInventors: Zizhao Zhang, Tomas Jon Pfister, Sercan Omer Arik, Mingfei Gao

Patent number: 12271687Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology generally relate to enhancements to spreadsheet tables. More specifically, embodiments of the present technology include systems and methods for incorporating various table column operations into table columns headers, thereby simplifying the act of propagating a desired effect across a range that exactly matches the table column. In an embodiment, a spreadsheet application detects a cell event in a spreadsheet, wherein the cell event affects one or more cells of the spreadsheet, determines that a cell of the one or more cells is inside a range that makes up a table in the spreadsheet, identifies a table column of the table to which the cell belongs, identifies metadata for the table column, wherein the metadata for the table column comprises column configuration instructions, and applies the column configuration instructions to the cell.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2022Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Advait Sarkar, George Chalhoub, Christopher Evan Oslund, Christian Mendel Canton

Patent number: 12271290Abstract: Build, execution, and testing on software may be performed remotely on cluster infrastructure. Tests can be scheduled on workers in the cluster infrastructure, and results of the tests are reported to the developer. If a test fails, the developer may receive an exit code from the failed test. For tests that are flaky, an exit code provides little to no benefit to identify the cause of the flakiness. To make it easier for the developer to debug flaky tests, a test identified to be flaky can be run many times in parallel, one or more parallel executions that result in failure can be paused, and one or more remote debugging sessions can be created for the one or more parallel executions. A developer can access the remote debugging session to inspect the paused execution of the test equipped with debugging tools to determine the cause of the flakiness.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: GM Cruise Holdings LLCInventors: Matt Landis, Victor Robertson

Patent number: 12273567Abstract: A system and method of reducing blocking artifacts and providing enhanced coding efficiency based, as least in part, upon evaluation of relative smoothness of signals at a coding boundary. In some embodiments, a boundary threshold difference can be established beyond which it is determined that the difference is representative of a natural or intended boundary and filtering can be applied to those boundaries having differences below the boundary threshold difference. In some further embodiments, the ramps of the signal across the boundary can be evaluated to determine whether weak or strong filtering might be appropriate. In some further embodiments, weak filtering can be performed that reduces blocking artifacts, improves coding efficiency, but does not distort ramp signals across the boundary.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: ARRIS Enterprises LLCInventors: David M. Patent number: 12271384Abstract: A query processing system is operable to determine a set of query rules that includes a minimum result set size rule. A query is received from a requesting entity. A size of a result set of the query is determined. Compliance data is determined based on determining whether the size of the result set complies with the minimum result set size rule. When the compliance data indicates the size of the result set complies with the minimum result set size rule, a query result for the query is generated based on the result set, and the query result is generated to the requesting entity. When the compliance data indicates the size of the result set does not comply with the minimum result set size rule: transmission of the query result to the requesting entity is foregone.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: Ocient Holdings LLCInventors: S. Patent number: 12272336Abstract: Embodiments of the subject matter described herein relate to a wireless programmable media processing system. In the media processing system, a processing unit in a computing device generates a frame to be displayed based on a graphics content for an application running on the computing device. The frame to be displayed is then divided into a plurality of block groups which are compressed. The plurality of compressed block groups are sent to a graphics display device over a wireless link. In this manner, both the generation and the compression of the frame to be displayed may be completed at the same processing unit in the computing device, which avoids data copying and simplifies processing operations. Thereby, the data processing speed and efficiency is improved significantly.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Yunxin Liu, Jiansong Zhang, Lintao Zhang, Thomas Moscibroda
