  • Patent number: 12347463
Abstract: Read and write transducer elements have very high reliability for most of their respective lives. Only a small percentage of transducer elements fail after a significant duration of operation in the field, but failure rate ramps up significantly with as the transducer elements age, particularly with heavy read and write use. Prior solutions to this problem involve regularly running data field integrity checks. However, the data field integrity checks are resource intensive and yield significant latency impacts. The presently disclosed technology renders data field integrity checks (that come with high latency costs) dependent upon periodic or continuous head health monitoring schemes (that come with low latency costs). The data field integrity checks are triggered by a “poor health” signal generating from the head health monitoring schemes rather than being continuously or periodically performed with no regard to projected head health.

  • Patent number: 12348077
Abstract: Bidirectional energy transfer systems are provided for transferring energy between an electrified vehicle and other structures. The bidirectional energy transfer system may include a home energy management system having a dark start energy storage resource. The home energy management system may enter hibernation mode when the dark start energy storage resource reaches a low power state. The home energy management system may subsequently exit hibernation mode using a variety of recovery strategies when the electrified vehicle returns to the structure or near when the vehicle is expected to return to the structure. Placing the home energy management system in hibernation mode ensures that the dark start energy storage resource will have a sufficient amount of energy for powering system loads necessary to initiate the energy transfer from the vehicle to the structure during the grid power outage.

  • Patent number: 12343469
Abstract: The present invention provides for the integration of drug dispersion methods into a drug or medicine delivery system. The drug dispersion methods used include shear (e.g., air across a drug, with or without a gas assist), capillary flow or a venturi effect, mechanical means such as spinning, vibration, or impaction, and turbulence (e.g., using mesh screens, or restrictions in the air path). These methods of drug dispersion allow for all of the drug in the system to be released, allowing control of the dosage size. These methods also provide for drug metering, fluidization, entrainment, deaggragation and deagglomeration. The present invention also provides for the integration of a drug sealing system into the device. The drug sealing system provides a way of blocking the migration of drug from one area of the package to another.

  • Patent number: 12345025
Abstract: An atmospheric water generation system comprises water vapor consolidation systems configured to increase the relative humidity of a controlled air stream prior to condensing water from the controlled air stream. The water vapor consolidation system comprises a fluid-desiccant flow system configured to decrease the temperature of the desiccant to encourage water vapor to be absorbed by the desiccant from an atmospheric air flow. The desiccant flow is then heated to encourage water vapor evaporation from the desiccant flow into a controlled air stream that circulates within the system. The humidity of the controlled air stream is thereby increased above the relative humidity of the atmospheric air to facilitate condensation of the water vapor into usable liquid water.

  • Patent number: 12344277
Abstract: An authentication system for a voice controlled autonomous driving system of a vehicle includes a plurality of perception sensors for collecting perception data indicative of an environment surrounding the vehicle and one or more controllers in electronic communication with one or more autonomous driving controllers of the voice controlled autonomous driving system and the plurality of perception sensors. The voice controlled autonomous driving system determines the trajectory of the vehicle based on a voice command generated by an occupant of the vehicle. The one or more controllers execute instructions to calculate a credibility score of the occupant that quantifies a reliability of one or more voice-based commands generated by the occupant. In response to determining an overall credibility score of the occupant is less than the threshold access score, the one or more controllers adjust an access level of the voice controlled autonomous driving system for the occupant.

  • Patent number: 12347058
Abstract: Examples herein describe systems and methods for aligning elements, such as conduit, ductwork, and plumbing within a computer-aided design (“CAD”) application. A plugin can provide an element alignment option on a graphical user interface (“GUI”) of the CAD program. An anchor point from which to align elements is selected in the GUI so that the plugin can choose locations within a structure to run multiple elements in parallel alignment. The system can recommend an alignment plane based on the slopes of the selected multiple elements and provide a direction for a run of the multiple elements. The systems retrieve the specifications and parameters of each individual element to determine its spacing among the run of multiple elements. The run of multiple elements is displayed and manipulated by the plugin via the GUI.
