Abstract: A client device receives media content from a server remote from the client device. During playback of the media content, the client device transmits, to a player proxy remote from the client device, a play position of the media content. The play position of the media content is used by the player proxy at the application server to continue providing the media content. The play position is transmitted repeatedly to the player proxy while playback of the media content continues. The client device transmits the media content for display at a display device that is coupled to the client device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to waxy maize starches having desirably high process stability, and to methods relating to them, including methods for making and using them. One aspect of the disclosure is a waxy maize starch having an amyiopectin content in the range of 90-100%; wherein the amyiopectin fraction of the waxy maize starch has at least 28.0% DP3-12 branches; and no more than 53.0% DP 13-24 branches, no more than 16.0% DP 25-36 branches. Such waxy maize starches can be advantaged over conventional waxy maize starches in that they can have increased process stability, especially with respect to freeze-thaw stability. Methods of making the starch materials, using exo-hydrolyzing enzymes and methods of using the starch materials in food products are also described.

Abstract: A noise-reducing air passage device and its components for use in ventilator systems, including a housing with at least one inlet, at least one outlet, an inner wall, and an outer wall. The space enclosed by the inner wall of the housing forms a gas passage including at least one chamber to provide a space for gas accumulation and flow. A blower, the core component to provide positive pressure gas to the device, is secured within one of the at least one chamber. The gas passage also includes a ventilation component to divide the gas and streamline turbulent airflow. The ventilation component is among the noise-reducing components, which also include a support component to provide support and damp vibrations for the blower and an inlet component provided at the inlet.
Abstract: A tool for use in making a solid aesthetic wall skin sheet by slush molding. The tool comprises a porous tool base, a flat screen attached to the base, and a patterned grid attached to the screen and base.
Abstract: A dehumidification system includes a primary evaporator, a primary condenser, a secondary evaporator, a secondary condenser, a superheat control evaporator, and a modulating valve. The superheat control evaporator is disposed parallel to the secondary evaporator and is configured to receive one of the inlet airflows and output a first airflow to the primary evaporator. The secondary evaporator is configured to receive another one of the inlet airflows and output a second airflow to the primary evaporator. The primary evaporator receives the first and second airflows and outputs a third airflow to the secondary condenser. The secondary condenser receives the third airflow and outputs a fourth airflow to the primary condenser. The primary condenser outputs a dischargeable airflow. The modulating valve directs the flow of refrigerant to the secondary condenser or to the primary evaporator, depending on the mode of operation.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus to identify media devices are disclosed. An example network communications monitor includes network interface circuitry, computer readable instructions, and processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is to execute the computer readable instructions to detect, via the network interface circuitry, multiple network communications transmitted on a home network within the household, access panelist data that associates a panelist of the household with a panelist device of the panelist, determine, based on the panelist data, that one or more of the multiple network communications are associated with the panelist device, and cause storage of data identifying the one or more network communications in association with the panelist.
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method for anonymous attestation that includes receiving, by an application running on a client device and from a first content provider, an authentication request to authenticate a user to receive content from a second domain of a second content provider, redeeming, with an attestation token issuing system that issued an anonymous attestation token attesting to the user's authentication to the second content provider, the anonymous attestation token by transmitting the anonymous attestation token with a second request, receiving a redemption result representing whether the attestation token was successfully redeemed, signed by the attestation token issuing system using a digital signature and is operable to verify, to the second content provider, that the user is authenticated to the second content provider without identifying the user to the second content provider, and transmitting, to the first content provider, the redemption result.
Abstract: A system includes a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is configured to be movably mounted within a vehicle structure to move between an open position and a closed position. The second panel is moveable independently of the first panel within the vehicle structure by a drive mechanism between a deployed position and a non-deployed position. The second panel is automatically or selectively moved to the deployed position to provide a privacy mode within a passenger compartment.
