Abstract: There is included a method and apparatus comprising computer code configured to cause a processor or processors to perform obtaining an input low resolution (LR) image comprising a height, a width, and a number of channels, implementing a feature learning deep neural network (DNN) configured to compute a feature tensor based on the input LR image, generating, by an upscaling DNN, a high resolution (HR) image, having a higher resolution than the input LR image, based on the feature tensor computed by the feature learning DNN, wherein a networking structure of the upscaling DNN differs depending on different scale factors, and wherein a networking structure of the feature learning DNN is a same structure for each of the different scale factors.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a flexible display and a device housing that defines a translation surface for the flexible display. A support layer is positioned between a portion of the flexible display and the translation surface. A rotor positioned within a curvilinear section of the flexible display causes a linear translation of the support layer across the translation surface by drawing the flexible substrate around the rotor. A flexible support structure can be positioned between the support layer and the flexible display, with the flexible support structure defining a plurality of engagement teeth with ends extending under one or more housing rails to prevent pillowing of the flexible display.

Abstract: An accessory device receives authentication information from a host computing device connected thereto and determines whether the authentication information is valid. If the authentication information is valid, the accessory device applies a first access policy that specifies whether the accessory device can provide the host computing device with access to none, some, or all of various computing resources of the accessory device. If the authentication information is not valid, the accessory device applies a second access policy that is different than the first access policy. The accessory device can also be provisioned with access policies by a host computing device if the host computing device successfully authenticates with the accessory device. In either case, authenticating the host computing device may include verifying a digital signature of a certificate provided by the host computing device using a public key of a certificate authority that has been provisioned to the accessory device.

Abstract: A microphone assembly can include a microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) transducer comprising a transducer substrate, a diaphragm oriented substantially parallel to the transducer substrate and spaced apart from the transducer substrate to form a gap, and a counter electrode coupled to the transducer substrate, the counter electrode positioned between the diaphragm and the transducer substrate. The MEMS transducer can generate a signal representative of a change in capacitance between the counter electrode and the diaphragm. A back volume of the MEMS transducer can be an enclosed volume positioned between the transducer substrate and the diaphragm. The microphone assembly can include an integrated circuit that receives the signal, wherein every point within the back volume is less than a thermal boundary layer thickness from a nearest solid surface at an upper limit of an audio frequency band that the integrated circuit is monitoring.

An electromethanogenic reactor includes an anode conductor and a cathode conductor wherein the cathode conductor includes submicron to micron scale pores. Electromethanogenesis microbes and/or enzymes are located in the micron scale pores of the cathode electrode conductor. Carbon dioxide is introduced into the electromethanogenic reactor and the electromethanogenesis microbes/enzymes and the carbon dioxide interact and produce a fuel gas. The fuel gas is stored for subsequent use, for example use in power generation.

Abstract: Software code is tested to determine relative performance of the software code. Successfully executing a test may be used to flag problems in a code repository to be corrected or criteria for accepting code for acceptance to the repository. To further evaluate test results, the test may be run several times on the same code version to determine a test result stability score describing how the test results may vary in different executions, such as a frequency that the code passes the test. Based on the score, additional tests may be run to further refine test result stability score. To evaluate time-variance of testing, when a code version fails a test, a previous version of the code may be run with the same test and the results compared to determine if a new regression was introduced.
Abstract: A high capacity and high efficiency co-current and cross-flow vapor-liquid contacting apparatus and process is useful in distillation columns and other vapor-liquid contacting processes. The apparatus is characterized by an arrangement of contacting modules and perforated receiving pans in horizontal stages.
