Abstract: A synthetic radiator fabric with permanent mechanical wicking defines an inner surface and has a raised knit body defining an opposite outer surface. The fabric includes hydrophilic and hydrophobic fiber-containing yarns. At the inner surface, the hydrophilic fiber-containing yarns collect liquid sweat from a wearer's skin surface and maintain the collected sweat at the inner surface, generally in the vicinity of and/or in contact with the wearer's skin, for encouraging evaporation of sweat and providing evaporative cooling. The raised knit body extends from the inner surface toward, and defines, the opposite outer surface. The hydrophobic fiber-containing yarns are arranged in a radiator-like construction forming egg-crate or honey-comb like cells or pores, defined by the knit body and open to the inner surface. At the outer fabric surface, the hydrophobic fibers receive excess sweat from the wearer's body, thereby to encourage rapid evaporation and drying, for improved breathability.

Abstract: Based on the interaction data and response data, an interaction monitoring platform may determine a first known sentiment and a second known sentiment, identify a first pattern and a second pattern in the interaction data, and generate a first pattern-level sentiment and a second pattern-level sentiment based on the known sentiments and the identified patterns. A binary indicator may indicate which identified patterns are exhibited in a subset of the interaction data. The platform may train a gradient boosting model using known sentiment as a target variable and using binary indicators and pattern-level sentiments as input data. The platform may predict a sentiment corresponding to a subset of interaction data with unknown sentiment that exhibits one or more of the first pattern or the second pattern based on a binary indicator and the trained gradient boosting model.

Abstract: Topical pain relief compositions include a cannabinoid, terpenoid, and skin penetration system that includes dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and at least one compatibilizer. The composition may be in the form of an emulsion that contains water and at least one fatty component. The composition can be used to reduce or eliminate pain by direct topical application to an affected part or region of the body. A method of treating pain may include direct topical application of the composition to a joint, ligament, muscle, tendon, or disk. The composition penetrates through the skin to provide localized pain relief where applied and provides a quantity of cannabinoid in the region of the pain instead of distributing the cannabinoid systemically and/or to the brain or central nervous system. The composition may be applied by rubbing or massaging at the treatment site and/or by a bandage, patch or other barrier layer.
Abstract: A modular system for aeration and biosource augmentation of a body of water and a method of using the system to prevent or eliminate an algal bloom in a water body include one or more mechanical basins located outside the body of water and at least two of: one or more residence pods submerged in the body of water that aerate the body of water, dose beneficial biosource, host biosource, and provide biosource to the body of water; one or more residence air pods submerged in the body of water that aerate the body of water, host beneficial bacteria, and provide beneficial bacteria to the body of water; and one or more residence nano pods submerged in the body of water that host, the one or more residence pods or the one or more residence air pods in fluid communication with the one or more mechanical basins.
Abstract: Techniques can be implemented to provide for antivirus scanning in clustered storage where not all nodes of the cluster are connected to an antivirus server. A first computing node of computing nodes of a computing cluster can determine a status of an antivirus server. The first computing node can send a first indication of the status of the antivirus server to a group management protocol service of the computing cluster. The group management protocol service can send a second indication of whether the first computing node is available for antivirus scanning to a job engine of the computing cluster. The job engine can distribute an antivirus job among the computing nodes based on whether the first computing node is available for the antivirus scanning.

Abstract: Phased parameterized combinatoric testing for a data storage system is disclosed. A testing recipe can be performed according to different input arguments. Combinatoric testing of the data storage system can be based on different combinations of operations and arguments. The disclosed testing can employ a consistent integer index for arguments passed into the sequenced operations of the recipe. The recipe can be employed to generate a phased test tree that can enable testing based on a phase rather than loading an entire test suite into memory. The consistent integer index can be used to identify failed test cases such that the entire test can be reconstituted from stored failed test information. Distribution of test cases to worker process can based on the phased test tree to facilitate interning an operation. Stored failed test information can include human-readable failure information.
Abstract: An intraosseous needle includes a cylindrical shaft. The cylindrical shaft includes a first portion comprising a plurality of threads protruding from the cylindrical shaft. The cylindrical shaft includes a second portion comprising a plurality of fenestrations, disposed between the first portion and a distal end of the cylindrical shaft, wherein the cylindrical shaft is continuous and smooth within the second portion, and where the continuous, smooth second portion is longer than the first portion. The intraosseous needle also includes a needle head extending from a proximal end of the cylindrical shaft.
Abstract: A card management system is used to store one or more cards in a secure and flexible manner, allowing for selective extraction and retention of one or more cards from the card management system. The card management system comprises a housing containing a stack of cards, such as credit cards and the like with at least one card opening for locating and removing cards by rotating a spring-loaded thumb wheel. When rotational pressure is applied, the thumb wheel rotates translating the rotational movement into linear movement, thereby causing a card carrier to partially extend one or more cards through a card opening in the housing. With the cards now being partially exposed, one or more cards can be selected for use. When the pressure on the thumb wheel is released, the card carrier moves the card carrier retracts back into the housing by the spring tension.
Abstract: A data storage ecosystem that includes a series of devices of increasing size, designed to look and work together as a family, with at least one of the devices being a data storage device having a first consumer-accessible connector and a second high speed connector. The data storage ecosystem also includes a rack-mounted docking unit having a third high speed interfacing connector configured to couple to the second high speed connector of the data storage device when the data storage device is inserted into the rack-mounted docking unit.
