Abstract: A system and a method for grouping log lines in application log file is presented. The system uses logging framework code instrumentation in order to obtain a relation between the actual log line and the place in source code from which a method responsible for writing the line has been called. As the all information on the relation is stored in external metadata files, the structure of the log files remains unchanged. Using the above mentioned metadata and a raw log file, each log line in the file can be assigned to a group related to the place in source code from which the line has been logged, by the system. Next such a grouped log file can be displayed to the user in order to simplify the analysis of the application behavior.

Abstract: Disclosed is an additive manufacturing process for making shingles and roof tiles. The entire shingle, including the substrate, can be manufactured on location, or a substrate can be manufactured at a manufacturing plant and then colored and textured on location to provide a wide variety of shapes and colors of shingles and roof tiles. Costs for inventory and shipping are reduced and a greater variety of shapes and colors can be provided for the shingles and roof tiles. The additive manufacturing equipment can be mounted on a truck so that the additive manufacturing techniques can be a mobile application of the additive manufacturing technology.
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a slider bar to protect a battery pack of a vehicle. The battery pack is housed on an underbody in between the vehicle's front and rear axles. The battery pack protrudes towards the ground. The battery pack can optionally be covered by a shield that has a slot through which the slider bar extends outwards towards the ground. The slider bar is coupled to the underbody near the battery pack. The slider bar is positioned lower than the battery pack such that in an event of the vehicle bottoming out, the impact will be absorbed by the slider bar instead of the battery pack. Thereby, the slider bar protects the battery pack from scraping/scratching the ground.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. Third party charging may be performed to provide services for a wireless device. One or more policies may be determined for the wireless device based on charging information.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for exploiting inter-cell interference to achieve multiplexing gain in a multiple antenna system (MAS) with multi-user (MU) transmissions (“MU-MAS”). For example, a MU-MAS of one embodiment comprises a wireless cellular network with multiple distributed antennas operating cooperatively to eliminate inter-cell interference and increase network capacity exploiting inter-cell multiplexing gain.
Abstract: In one aspect, methods are described herein for enhancing one or more nucleic acid interactions. For example, in some embodiments, methods of enhancing one or more steps of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) are described herein. In some embodiments, the optimal temperature cycling protocol for one or more PCR cycles can be determined according to methods described herein.
Abstract: A foam filled structural plank made from a plurality of structural beams assembled together to form a structure capable of supporting the weight of a building thereon, wherein the plurality of structural beams define an enclosure therebetween and an outer perimeter therearound; and a structural building foam such as having expanded polystyrene foam having a density from 1.5 to 3.0 PFC filling the enclosure.
Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. For example, a front panel of the blade can be opened either upwardly or downwardly at the discretion of the user. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Cables can be routed to the rear of the chassis system from either of two sides at the discretion of the user. The blades carried by the chassis have fiber management trays that can be rotationally oriented in any desired rotational position at the discretion of the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to an autonomy computing system for an autonomous vehicle. The autonomy computing system can include functional circuits associated with a first compute function of the autonomous vehicle. Each of the functional circuits can be configured to obtain sensor data that describes one or more aspects of an environment external to the autonomous vehicle at a current time. Each of the functional circuits can be configured to generate, over a time period and based on the sensor data, a respective output according to the specified order. The autonomy computing system can include monitoring circuits configured to evaluate an output consistency of the respective outputs, and in response to detecting an output inconsistency between two or more of the respective outputs, generate data indicative of a detected anomaly associated with the first autonomous compute function.

Abstract: A novel method for producing a novel electro-optic electric-field sensor is disclosed. The resulting end product from this production method is a unique electro-optic electric-field sensor that includes thin film optical waveguides made from an electro-optic material on a low dielectric constant substrate. An optical circuit fabricated utilizing this production method may be a Mach-Zehnder interferometer or a micro-ring modulator. The low dielectric constant substrate allows the electric field to have high strength in the electro-optic thin film section, which in turn enables high sensitivity. In addition, for the Mach-Zehnder modulator sensor structure, phase matching is achieved between the RF or THz signal and the optical signal, resulting in an ultra-high-speed sensor for detection of Terahertz (THz) e-fields. An alternative design with a micro-ring electric-field sensor structure is also disclosed for high-spatial resolution electric-field sensing applications.
Abstract: The storage device that includes a non-volatile memory with a control circuitry that is communicatively coupled to an array of memory cells that are arranged in a plurality of word lines. The control circuitry is configured to program the memory cells in a plurality of programming loops. The programming loops include applying a programming pulse to a selected word line of the plurality of word lines. The programming loops also include applying a verify pulse VN to the selected word line to simultaneously verify a lower tail of the memory cells being programmed to a data state N and an upper tail of the memory cells that have been programmed to a data state N?1. The data state N?1 has a lower voltage threshold than the data state N.
Abstract: A nuclear system. The nuclear system includes a fuel rod for use in a nuclear reactor. The fuel rod includes a cladding comprising an interior region, unspent fuel pellets housed in the interior region of the cladding, and a resonant electrical circuit supported within the interior region of the cladding. The resonant electrical circuit is configured to receive an excitation pulse through the cladding, and responsive to the received excitation pulse, generate a response pulse in the form of a magnetic field signal that is structured to travel wirelessly from the interior region and through the cladding. The nuclear system also includes a receiver positioned outside of the cladding and within the nuclear reactor. The receiver is configured to receive the response pulse and generate an output based on the received response pulse.
