Patent number: 11403175Abstract: In response to detecting the failure of a data storage drive, a drive rebuild operation is performed. The drive rebuild operation is performed by periodically i) calculating a target rebuild rate that enables data previously stored on the failed data storage drive to be completely rebuilt on at least one other data storage drive within an expected drive rebuild time window, ii) calculating a new value for at least one drive rebuild parameter based on a value for the drive rebuild parameter corresponding to the target rebuild rate indicated by a static rebuild rate data structure and a current level of host I/O (Input/Output) activity, and iii) rebuilding the data previously stored on the failed data storage drive on the at least one other data storage drive for a predetermined time period with the at least one drive rebuild parameter set to the new value for the drive rebuild parameter.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 2020Date of Patent: August 2, 2022Assignee: EMC IP Holding Company LLCInventors: Philippe Armangau, Geng Han, Jian Gao

Patent number: 11404138Abstract: An apparatus and method for detecting leakage current in a non-volatile memory array. A reference current is connected to a leakage detection circuit. A reference code is determined for the leakage detection circuit coupled to a switching circuit. The reference code establishes a leakage current threshold. The reference current is disconnected from the leakage detection circuit and the switching circuit. Next, the leakage detection circuit is connected to a set of word lines of a storage block of a non-volatile memory array by way of the switching circuit. A memory current is generated within the set of word lines. A leakage code is determined for the set of word lines representing leakage current from the word lines in response to the memory current. The leakage code is compared with the reference code. If the leakage code exceeds the reference code, the storage block is deemed unusable.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2020Date of Patent: August 2, 2022Assignee: SanDisk Technologies LLCInventors: Aswani Krishna Lakshminarayana Addagalla, Sridhar Yadala, Pradeep Anantula, Sivakumar Grandhi, V.S.N.K.Chaitanya G

Patent number: 11405502Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to routing of an emergency communication under fault conditions. Routing can be implemented in a packet-switching (PS) network that provides voice service. For a network node of the PS network, availability to route the emergency communication through a specific emergency service routing number (ESRN) can be determined and, in response to the network node being unavailable, administrative data associated with the ESRN can be accessed. In addition, an identifier associated with the administrative data can be updated (e.g., created or modified) with data indicative of the device that originated the emergency communication. The administrative data and the resulting identifier can be delivered to a second network node that can route the emergency communication to an emergency service network.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2020Date of Patent: August 2, 2022Assignee: COMCAST CABLE COMMUNICATIONS, LLCInventors: Arvind Kaushal, Jon Boone, Jr., Brett Sherman

Patent number: 11405433Abstract: Aspects of the technology described herein provide a collaborative browsing experience in which real-time browsing activity and saved browsing activity of session collaborators in a collaborative browsing session are shared with the collaborators. A collaborative session may be initiated, which may create a tab group associated with the session and linked to a collaborator. Other collaborators may be invited to join the session, and additional tab groups for each collaborator may be created. The tab groups of the collaborators may be included in a collective tab group, which may be updated in real-time with changes made by any of the collaborators.
