Abstract: A method, mass spectrometer and computer readable medium for acquiring mass spectral data in raw profile; detecting presence of compounds and relevant time window; performing multivariate statistical analysis of raw profile data in a time window to determine compounds; obtaining separation time profiles for detected compounds containing respective time locations in a time window; and computing pure mass spectra for compounds based on separation time profiles or time locations. A method, mass spectrometer and computer readable medium for acquiring mass spectral data in raw profile of a known and unknown sample; combining mass spectral scans for a sample into a single mass spectrum across a separation time window; performing multivariate statistical analysis of the acquired mass spectral data and computing a distance measure between the known and unknown sample; and using the distance measure as an indication for an unknown sample belonging to a known sample or sample group.

Abstract: Cybersecurity is improved by automatically finding underutilized access capabilities. Some embodiments obtain an access capability specification, gather access attempt data, and computationally determine that the access capability has not been exercised sufficiently, based on an access capability exercise sufficiency criterion. Security is then enhanced by automatically producing a recommendation to harden a guarded computing system by reducing, disabling, or deleting the insufficiently exercised access capability. In some cases, security enhancement is performed by automatically hardening the guarded computing system. Access capability exercise sufficiency determination may be based on fixed, statistical, or learned time period thresholds or activity level thresholds, or on a combination thereof using confidence levels. Thresholds are compared to a detected time period value or a detected activity level value that is derived from the access attempt data, to determine exercise sufficiency.
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for improving fuel efficiency of a vehicle using a mountable wheel cap coupleable to a wheel. The mountable wheel cap includes a center section and an outer section. Abstract: Provided are methods for learning to identify safety-critical scenarios for autonomous vehicles. First state information representing a first state of a driving scenario is received. The information includes a state of a vehicle and a state of an agent in the vehicle's environment. The first state information is processed with a neural network to determine at least one action to be performed by the agent, including a perception degradation action causing misperception of the agent by a perception system of the vehicle. Second state information representing a second state of the driving scenario is received after performance of the at least one action. A reward for the action is determined. First and second distances between the vehicle and the agent are determined and compared to determine the reward for the at least one action. At least one weight of the neural network is adjusted based on the reward.

Abstract: Methods and systems for increasing exhaust gas temperatures of an engine are described. In one example, engine exhaust gas temperatures may be increased via deactivating cylinders and flowing exhaust gases through deactivated cylinder. The VDP accelerator establishes a different session key for each pair of the plurality of VDP accelerators.
