Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are related to the deauthorization of a private key associated with a decentralized identifier. While a user of a computing system is authenticated as a decentralized identifier, the system detects user input, and determines based on that user input that the private key associated with the decentralized identity is to be revoked. In response to this determination, the private key is deauthorized so that the private key cannot be used to perform actions for the decentralized identity at least until the private key is restored.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for generating a digital image. The method comprises receiving a shutter release command and causing a camera module to sample a first image of a photographic scene based on a first set of sampling parameters in response to the shutter release command. Next, the first image within an image set is stored and a camera module is caused to sample a second image of the photographic scene based on a second set of sampling parameters in response to the shutter release command. Additionally, the second image within the image set is stored, and a strobe intensity value is specified based on a measured exposure for images in the image set. Lastly, a strobe unit is configured based on the strobe intensity value, and in response to configuring the strobe unit, the camera module is caused to sample a final image.

Abstract: A prosthetic cover (104) for a prosthetic support element (102) can include a substantially cylindrical hollow body (106) with a first end and a second end and sized to fit around a support element of a prosthesis. A first flexible end seal (108) and a second flexible end seal (110) can each attach with the substantially cylindrical hollow body at the first and second ends, respectively, and connect the hollow body with the support element of the prosthesis by deforming about the support element when the prosthetic cover is installed around the support element.

Abstract: A DC-DC auto-converter module includes a positive source terminal, a negative source terminal, a positive load terminal, a negative load terminal, and a DC-DC converter. The negative source terminal cooperates with the positive source terminal to facilitate electrical connection of a DC power source thereto. The negative load terminal cooperates with the positive load terminal to facilitate connection of an electrical load thereto. The isolated DC-DC converter comprises an input circuit and an output circuit that is galvanically isolated from the input circuit. The DC-DC converter includes a positive input terminal, a negative input terminal, a positive output terminal, and a negative output terminal. At least one of the positive input terminal, the negative input terminal, the positive output terminal, and the negative output terminal is galvanically connected to at least one of the positive source terminal, the negative source terminal, the positive load terminal, and the negative load terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a spinal fixation assembly and method to provide adequate rigidity and support for a vertebral column without requiring additional pedicle screws and spinal rods. The spinal fixation assembly includes a spinal rod loop with multiple sides configured to be attached to a vertebral body with two or more pedicle screws. Each pedicle screw is adapted to fit at various locations along the spinal rod loop.

Abstract: A data parallel pipeline may specify multiple parallel data objects that contain multiple elements and multiple parallel operations that operate on the parallel data objects. Based on the data parallel pipeline, a dataflow graph of deferred parallel data objects and deferred parallel operations corresponding to the data parallel pipeline may be generated and one or more graph transformations may be applied to the dataflow graph to generate a revised dataflow graph that includes one or more of the deferred parallel data objects and deferred, combined parallel data operations. The deferred, combined parallel operations may be executed to produce materialized parallel data objects corresponding to the deferred parallel data objects.

Abstract: A method and a server system for creating consistent snapshots in a distributed storage system are disclosed. The server system stores entities in databases that includes a production portion for storing current versions of entities and a backup portion for storing backup versions of modified entities, receives a request for a snapshot of a portion of the databases at a predefined snapshot time. In response to the request, the server system generates a snapshot of the databases, the snapshot including: a backup version of an entity retrieved from the backup portion and a current version of another entity retrieved from the databases and produces a response to the request based on the snapshot. When there are several backup portions, a backup portion may be used separately or in conjunction with other backup portions to provide required backup versions to generate a snapshot.

Abstract: Apparatus selectively attachable to the outer case of a cellular telephone or other similarly sized portable device. The apparatus desirably includes a housing containing an elastomeric band that is principally disposed inside the housing when the apparatus is not in use. When the apparatus of the invention is attached to the outer case of a cell phone, a portion of the elastomeric band is manually withdrawn through an opening in the housing and can be releasably latched in place to form a flexible, continuous loop outside the housing. The flexible, continuous loop can be used as a selectively retractable carrying strap when the cell phone or other similar device is not in use. Alternatively, the flexible continuous loop can be used, for example, to support the cell phone around a user's neck for hands-free use when the user is engaged in other activities.

Abstract: An exercise machine may include a support frame; at least one weight rack configured to receive added weight; and a weight ratio arrangement engaged with the support frame, the at least one weight rack, and a first attachment. The weight ratio arrangement may include an exercise cable having a first end connected to the first attachment and a second end connected to a portion of the machine; at least two movable pulley blocks, each including at least one pulley, wherein the at least one weight rack is attached to and configured to move with one of the at least two movable pulley blocks; and a locking mechanism movable between a locked position in which only one movable pulley block is movable and an unlocked position in which the two movable pulley blocks are movable. The exercise cable may be operatively connected to the at least two movable pulley blocks.

Abstract: A system for end to end prediction of lane detection uncertainty includes a sensor device of a host vehicle generating data related to a road surface and a navigation controller including a computerized processor operable to monitor an input image from the sensor device, utilize a convolutional neural network to analyze the input image and output a lane prediction and a lane uncertainty prediction, and generate a commanded navigation plot based upon the lane prediction and the lane uncertainty prediction. The convolutional neural network is initially trained using a per point association and error calculation, including associating a selected ground truth lane to a selected set of data points related to a predicted lane and then associating at least one point of the selected ground truth lane to a corresponding data point from the selected set of data points related to the predicted lane.

Abstract: A device including a communication component, a DIAL protocol component, a video processing component and a PIC verification component. The communication component can wirelessly receive a personal identification code, can communicate with a display and can receive first video content from a content provider. The DIAL protocol component can perform protocols in accordance with a multiscreen discovery and launch of first screen content specification. The video processing component can provide first video data including PIC image data corresponding to a code so as to display the first video data and a PIC image on the display. The PIC verification component can generate a verification signal when the personal identification code corresponds to the PIC image data. The video processing component can further provide the first video content to the display based on the verification signal.

Abstract: Thin film connectors are described for connecting a lead assembly and a data acquisition system. Particularly, a connector includes a button having a housing and conductive pins extending from a proximal end of the housing through a base plate into a cavity on a distal end of the housing. The connector further includes a thin-film adapter having: (i) a supporting structure, (ii) bond pads formed on the supporting structure, (iii) a cable having conductive traces electrically connected to the bond pads, and (iv) feedthroughs that pass through the supporting structure and are electrically connected with the bond pads. Each conductive pin extends through a feedthrough, and each conductive pin is in electrical connection with one or more conductive traces via each bond pad.

Abstract: Fully qualified domain name determination is disclosed. A queue of fully qualified domain names (FQDN) is created using a predetermined amount of network domains. Each FQDN is crawled from a plurality of collection agents of a computer network. For each FQDN, data comprising an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the FQDN, IP addresses for resources loaded for the FQDN and load times of the resources loaded for the FQDN are extracted. A correlation model is generated based on the data. An FQDN being accessed by one or more computer devices of the computer network is determined by using the correlation model.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for reducing false positives in vision sensor-equipped assistant devices. In various implementations, initial image frame(s) may be obtained from vision sensor(s) of an assistant device and analyzed to classify a particular region of the initial image frames as being likely to contain visual noise. Subsequent image frame(s) obtained from the vision sensor(s) may then be analyzed to detect actionable user-provided visual cue(s), in a manner that reduces or eliminates false positives. In some implementations, no analysis may be performed on the particular region of the subsequent image frame(s). Additionally or alternatively, in some implementations, a first candidate visual cue detected within the particular region may be weighted less heavily than a second candidate visual cue detected elsewhere in the one or more subsequent image frames. An automated assistant may then take responsive action based on the detected actionable visual cue(s).

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing information associated with storage containers. In accordance with some embodiments, a wireless tracking module includes a communications interface, a timer, and an indicator. The communications interface may receive instructions to track spoilage status of a perishable stored in a storage container and the timer may track a time duration associated with spoilage status of the perishable based on the received instructions. An indication may be provided by the indicator that reflects the spoilage status based on the time remaining in the tracked time duration. Further disclosed embodiments include a storage container including a wireless tracking module. Other embodiments disclose a tracking device that communicates with the wireless tracking module and includes a timer controller, a communications interface, and an alarm.

Abstract: A communication management resource receives notification of a registration request associated with user equipment present in a wireless network environment. In response to receiving the registration request, the communication management resource executes a roaming management function on behalf of the user equipment. Via the roaming management function, the communication management resource manages roaming of the user equipment in the wireless network environment. Using an SoR type mechanism as described herein allows a PLMN/SNPN operator to control their subscribers to what roaming SNPN network that they should select/reselect during wireless registration and at any time after registration based on the type of wireless services.

Abstract: Secondary gaming functionality is provided for a casino gaming machine by a secondary controller of the casino gaming machine. The secondary gaming functionality may function to provide a multi-game experience at the gaming machine or remotely at another gaming machine or other device, e.g., a smart phone, tablet, personal computer, and the like. The multi-game experience may comprise one or more additional instances of a wager-based video game provided by the primary gaming functionality of the gaming machine. The secondary gaming functionality of the gaming machine may cause the one or more additional instances of the wager-based video game to be presented at another device either directly or indirectly via a server, such as a social media server or a server-based gaming system's server.

The system also includes an adjacent ring coupled to a fluid end, the pressure ring positioned between the adjacent ring and the fluid end face. The system further includes a face seal positioned at an interface of the pressure ring and the fluid end face, the face seal containing pressurized fluid associated with the fluid end. The system also includes packing material positioned within at least a portion of the pressure ring bore.

Abstract: Failover between decentralized identity stores in the context of there being multiple decentralized identity stores that are each under the control of a single decentralized identity to store data belonging to or regarding the decentralized identity. Third parties can use the decentralized identity to at least conditionally access the data of the primary decentralized identity store. However, in response to detecting a failover event, one of the remaining decentralized identity stores is promoted as the new primary decentralized identity store. As part of this promotion, the new primary decentralized identity store replaces the old primary decentralized identity store as being the decentralized identity store that is accessed using the decentralized identity.
