Abstract: Systems and methods are described for determining a tracked position associated with viewing an emitting interface of a display device, generating, using the tracked position, a first mask representing a first set of values associated with the emitting interface of the display device, generating, using the tracked position, a second mask representing a second set of values associated with the emitting interface of the display device, and generating an output image using the first mask and the second mask.

Abstract: A method allowing the synchronizing collection of motion and ground reaction forces data at the start of a sporting event which are received from motion and force sensors embedded in insoles worn in the user's footwear. Furthermore, this method allows synchronization of said data with video or television transmission, and if used during, for example, during ski racing, provides information of skis' pitch, roll and heading in a 3-D space, as well as linear and angular velocity, g-forces, and the location and distribution of pressure points and ground reaction forces transferred to the user's feet in a numerical or a graphical form.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to anti-Staphylococcus aureus antibody combinations including combinations of antibodies that bind to S. aureus alpha toxin (AT) protein, clumping factor A protein (ClfA), and/or at least one leukotoxin protein. Methods of treating and preventing infections comprising administering the antibody combinations are also provided herein.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for synthetic data generation. A recurrent neural network can be trained for synthetic data generation by obtaining a sequence of elements and determining, using a classifier, that the sequence corresponds to a token. In response to the determination, a recurrent neural network configured to use a first vocabulary including the elements can be modified to use a second vocabulary, the second vocabulary including the token and the first vocabulary. The modified recurrent neural network can be trained using the token and the sequence of elements. The trained recurrent neural network can be used to generate synthetic data. A classifier can detect sequences of elements in the synthetic data corresponding to tokens. The tokens can replace the sequences of elements in the generated synthetic data and can be provided to the trained recurrent neural network to continue synthetic data generation.

The processing unit can operating a first network computational model (NCM) to provide respective expectation values of a plurality of actions based at least in part on the first state information. The processing unit can provide an indication of at least one of the plurality of actions, and receive a reference result value, e.g., via a communications interface. The processing unit can train the first RCM based at least in part on the predicted result value and the reference result value to provide a second RCM, and can train the first NCM based at least in part on the first state information and the at least one of the plurality of actions to provide a second NCM.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a user device, a transaction request associated with a first entity and identify a distributed ledger associated with the first entity, the distributed ledger including a set of blocks recording work data associated with the first entity. The set of blocks may include: a first subset of blocks including data specifying work performed by the first entity, and a second subset of blocks including data verifying a portion of the work performed by the first entity and specified by the data included in the first subset of blocks. The device may determine that a transaction, associated with the transaction request, is associated with the first subset of blocks and the second subset of blocks. Based on predetermined instructions that correspond to the transaction and the distributed ledger, the device may perform the transaction.

Abstract: A waveguide display includes a waveguide transparent to visible light, a first volume Bragg grating (VBG) on the waveguide and characterized by a first refractive index modulation, and a second reflection VBG on the waveguide and including a plurality of regions characterized by different respective refractive index modulations. The first reflection VBG is configured to diffract display light in a first wavelength range and a first field of view (FOV) range such that the display light in the first wavelength range and the first FOV range propagates in the waveguide through total internal reflection to the plurality of regions of the second reflection VBG. The plurality of regions of the second reflection VBG are configured to diffract the display light in different respective wavelength ranges within the first wavelength range and the first FOV range.

The first and second coupling surfaces define, at least in part, an elongate coupling cavity along the entire length of the waveguide body and a surface located opposite the coupling cavity. The waveguide body further comprises first and second opposed sections extending along the length of the waveguide body. The first and second opposed sections further comprise respective first and second lower surfaces disposed at different first and second side section angles with respect to a first axis lying in a plane normal to the longitudinal axis. The first axis bisects the coupling portion. Among other things, such a waveguide may be included in a luminaire along with a light source.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for helically installing a vortex-induced vibration (VIV) suppression fin about a tubular. The apparatus may include an outer ring member dimensioned to encircle an underlying tubular and an inner ring member positioned concentrically inward from the outer ring member. The inner ring member is configured to rotate with respect to at least one of the outer ring member or the tubular as the outer ring member moves along the tubular. The apparatus may further include a fin guide configured to receive a fin and helically position the fin along the tubular as the inner ring member rotates. A method of installing a vortex-induced vibration (VIV) suppression fin about a tubular may include removably attaching a VIV suppression fin to an installation member. The installation member may be positioned along a tubular and moved about the tubular to helically position the fin around the tubular.

The inner surface is inscribed by a door groove defining a deployment door at least partially tearing open to expel the air bag. The outer surface is inscribed by a hinge groove following a chord path bisecting the outer surface of the deployment door and configured to bend in response to an edge of the deployment door impacting the windshield. The impact force against the windshield is reduced while stiffness of the door against the air bag remains high to facilitate tearing open of the door by the air bag.

The server may determine the product description with the most similarity to the user query, and provide a response to the customer computing device based on that product description. In some embodiments, the server may determine whether the user query matches a predefined query. If the user query matches the predefined query, the server provides a response to the customer computing device based on a predefined response to the predefined query.

The application may present information related to permitted uses of the unlocked contactless card via a graphical user interface. Abstract: This document describes methods, devices, systems, and means for user-equipment-coordination-set (404) control aggregation that facilitates more efficient control-plane signaling in comparison to conventional wireless communication systems. Overhead for control-plane signaling is reduced by communicating reports and control commands for the multiple user equipments (110) in the user-equipment-coordination-set (404) in a single message instead of communicating a single control message for each user equipment (110). Additionally, the user-equipment-coordination-set (404) uses joint-reception and joint-transmission, to increase the reliability of communicating reports and control commands, especially in the case of challenging radio communication conditions between a base station (121) and an individual UE (110) located near the edge of a cell provided by the vase station.

The apparatus includes a housing having a membrane positioned therein. The housing has an inlet side and an outlet side. The membrane has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The housing has an inlet port located outward of the exterior surface of the membrane, at the inlet side of the housing, and a first outlet port and a second outlet port both located at the outlet side of the housing. The first outlet port is located outward of the exterior surface of the membrane and the second outlet port is located inward of the interior surface of the membrane. A first pump is used to route pressurized, untreated fluid from a fluid source through the membrane to produce permeate. A storage tank holds permeate until needed.

Abstract: At least one pulsed light beam is applied to eye tissue to raise the temperature of the eye tissue to photostimulate the tissue. The at least one light beam has parameters of wavelength, duty cycle, power and pulse train duration selected to achieve a therapeutic or prophylactic effect while not permanently damaging the eye tissue. The eye tissue photostimulation improves ocular health and function and slows or prevents disorders associated with a normally aging eye.

At least one overmolded magnet is connected to a bin having a magnetic attraction with the lid overmolded magnet to magnetically open and close the lid and the bin of the container. The overmold on the magnet encloses the magnet with vibration dampening material such as rubber. The metal portion may be a second at least one overmolded magnet second. The container may be a center console, glove box, ash tray, trunk, sun roof shade, cover. Spears, clips, prongs other suitable fasteners may be formed on one side of the overmold to allow insertion and attachment to a corresponding hole on the lid.
