  • Patent number: 11089996
Abstract: Various methods and machines have been used in the past to measure electrical characteristics of living tissue for purpose of locating an area of abnormal nervous system activity. However, whereas prior art methodologies merely allow for the detection of pain, the apparatus, system and method of the present invention allow for the objective assessment pain severity that finds utility not only the initial diagnosis but also the on-going treatment of any disease, disorder or injury associated therewith. To that end, the apparatus, system and method of the present invention allows medical practitioners to non-invasively and quantitatively distinguish organic pain from psychosomatic pain and legitimate pain patients from drug seekers and opiod addicts, as well as to directly and objectively compare the efficacy of different drug regimens and therapy protocols.

  • Patent number: 11093213
Abstract: Operational n-state digital gates execute Finite Lab-transformed (FLT) n-state switching functions or n-state switching function tables to process n-state signals provided on at least 2 inputs to generate an n-state signal on an output, with n>2, n>3 and n>64. The FLT is an enhancement of a computer architecture. Cryptographic apparatus and methods apply circuits that are characterized by FLT-ed addition and multiplication over finite field GF(n) or by addition and multiplication modulo-n that are modified in accordance with reversible n-state inverters, and are no longer characterized by known operations. Known cryptographic methods executed with novel n-state digital gates include encryption/decryption, public key generation, message digest and Elliptic Curve Cryptography wherein one n-state switching function is replaced by an FLT'ed n-state switching function.

  • Patent number: 11093947
Abstract: A device may determine that a verification method associated with a transaction card is to be modified from a first verification method to a second verification method. The first verification method and the second verification method may use different types of verification information. The device may provide a set of instructions to the transaction card after determining that the verification method is to be modified. The set of instructions may cause the transaction card to modify the verification method from the first verification method to the second verification method. The device may provide information identifying a modification to the verification method to a transaction backend device to notify the transaction backend device that the verification method associated with the transaction card has been modified from the first verification method to the second verification method.

  • Patent number: 11091925
Abstract: An electric-powered submersible vacuum cleaner for filtering water in a pool includes a base with an inlet port extending therethrough. A plurality of wheels extends from the lower surface of the base to facilitate movement of the cleaner over a surface of the pool. An impeller coaxially aligned with the inlet draws water and debris from the pool surface. An electric-powered drive train is coupled to the cleaner and configured to rotate the impeller. A discharge conduit in fluid communication with the inlet extends substantially normal with respect to the upper surface of the base and circumscribes the impeller to direct the flow of water/debris drawn through the inlet by the impeller. A filter mounted over the discharge conduit filters the debris from the drawn water and passes filtered water into the pool. A handle configured to facilitate manual movement of the cleaner over the pool surface.

  • Patent number: RE48699
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for allowing a mobile device user to forward one or more messages which are received on the user's mobile device, to a television or a set top box are described. The user is able to view the forwarded messages on the television and can also reply to such received messages from the television. The methods and apparatus may be implemented using a message forwarding application installed on a user's cell phone and a server responsible for forwarding messages and replies between the user's Internet capable TV or set top box and mobile telephone. To the party sending a message, replies appear to have originated from the user's cell phone making the use of the service transparent to individuals other than the user to which the message is sent. Message received and sent logs are maintained in the user's phone so the message record is complete.
