Patent number: 11078766Abstract: An artificial lift system has a surface pump operated by a prime mover powered by a variable speed drive. A jet pump disposed downhole in tubing receives pressurized power fluid from the surface pump, mixes the power and production fluid and delivers the product uphole. A controller disposed at surface adjusts the artificial lift system relative to a set value based on a measured discharged pressure or a measured flowrate and trends a change in the other of the measured flowrate or the measured discharged pressure over time. The controller can also trend an operating condition (intake pressure vs. production rate) to determine changes relative to cavitation conditions. Based on the trended changes, the controller initiates an operation in the artificial lift system, such as adjusting the discharge pressure, initiating an alarm condition, etc.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2019Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Weatherford Technology Holdings, LLCInventors: Michael C. Patent number: 11083056Abstract: A load regulation device, such as an LED driver, may be configured to control the intensity of a light source based on an analog control signal and a preconfigured dimming curve. The LED driver may sense a magnitude of the analog control signal and determine a new low-end and/or high-end control signal magnitude that falls outside of the input signal range of the dimming curve. The LED driver may rescale the preconfigured dimming curve according to new low-end and/or high-end control signal magnitudes and dim the light source based on the rescaled dimming curve. Multiple LED drivers controlled by the same analog control signal may communicate with each other regarding the magnitude of the analog control signal sensed by each LED driver, and match their target intensity levels despite sensing different analog control signal. A controller may be provided to coordinate the operation of the multiple LED drivers.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2020Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Lutron Technology Company LLCInventors: Matthew Knauss, Christopher G. Patent number: 11080275Abstract: A method of computing a join pattern agnostic aggregate function includes loading source code and parsing the source code to identify different database query operations. In response to the identification of an aggregate function in one of the different database query operations in which records in multiple tables are joined together in a table join, a multiplicity of primary keys are retrieved, each corresponding to a different one of the multiple tables and also an object of one of the tables referenced by the identified aggregate function. An existence of a fan out condition associated with the table join is then computed. On condition that an existence of the fan out condition is not computed a non-fan out sensitive implementation of the aggregate function is invoked with respect to the object. But, otherwise, a different, fan-out sensitive implementation of the aggregate function is invoked with respect to the object.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2019Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Lloyd Tabb, Steven Talbot

Patent number: 11080413Abstract: A system for securely producing and using high-entropy security information, such as a password. The system includes a printer, a display device, and a generator computer that is connected to the printer and the display device. The generator computer generates the high-entropy set of characters, (e.g., password), and also generates a machine-readable representation of the high-entropy set of characters, (e.g., a barcode). The generator computer causes the printer to print the high-entropy set of characters and the machine-readable representation on paper, and then deletes the high-entropy set of characters and the machine-readable representation from the system. The high-entropy set of characters, (e.g., password), may be entered into a target computer by scanning the barcode on the paper using a barcode scanner connected to the target computer, which is significantly faster than, and eliminates the human error associated with, typing in a high-entropy set of characters.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2020Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: INTEGRITY SECURITY SERVICES LLCInventors: Alan T. Meyer, Cameron Durham
