  • Patent number: 11083056
Abstract: A load regulation device, such as an LED driver, may be configured to control the intensity of a light source based on an analog control signal and a preconfigured dimming curve. The LED driver may sense a magnitude of the analog control signal and determine a new low-end and/or high-end control signal magnitude that falls outside of the input signal range of the dimming curve. The LED driver may rescale the preconfigured dimming curve according to new low-end and/or high-end control signal magnitudes and dim the light source based on the rescaled dimming curve. Multiple LED drivers controlled by the same analog control signal may communicate with each other regarding the magnitude of the analog control signal sensed by each LED driver, and match their target intensity levels despite sensing different analog control signal. A controller may be provided to coordinate the operation of the multiple LED drivers.

  • Patent number: 11079564
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for aligning and diagnosing the laser beam traversing an optical train in a highly space-efficient, lower cost and/or retrofit-friendly manner are disclosed. The optical components of the optical train are mounted such that one or more optical components can direct their exit laser beam to partially or wholly scan across one or more downstream sensors. Correlation data between physical disposition of optical components and the points of impact data and/or beam quality data are employed to, among others, align and/or diagnose the laser beam and/or localize failure sites and/or optimize maintenance schedule.

  • Patent number: 11076779
Abstract: An optimization system for testing a patient's hearing comprising a controller, right and left ear pieces, and a memory. The controller provides a series of tones to the ear piece and receive feedback from the patient between each tone provided. The controller then generates a data point on an audiogram after receiving each feedback, wherein each data point is based on the respective feedback, and, after each data point is generated, compute a statistical distribution based on the generated data points. The controller then identifies an area of the audiogram most in need of additional data based on the statistical distribution and selects a subsequent tone to provide in the series of tones, wherein each subsequent tone provided in the series of tones is a tone represented in the area of the audiogram most in need of additional data at the time of selection.

  • Patent number: 11081948
Abstract: An electric drive system for a vehicle includes a speed/position feedback device coupled to an electric machine and configured to provide an index pulse. The system further includes an inverter having a line voltage sensor. The system includes a controller programmed to, responsive to the electric machine rotating at a generally constant speed without commanding the inverter, generate a resolver offset from a time difference between a zero crossing of a line voltage and the index pulse and operate the inverter according to the resolver offset.

  • Patent number: 11076973
Abstract: A transorally implantable intragastric helical prosthesis for treating obesity. The helical prosthesis has a primary lumen having a balloon element therein, and a secondary lumen having a spring wire element therein. The prosthesis also includes an end fitting. When deployed into the stomach of a patient, the prosthesis spontaneously reverts from a linear pre-deployment configuration to a helical post-deployment configuration by the biasing action of the spring wire element. Upon inflation of the elongated balloon element, the prosthesis unwinds, dynamically engaging and stretching the stomach wall, reducing the intragastric space, and slowing down gastric emptying, thus promoting a feeling of satiety, which may result in weight loss.
