Patent number: 11082744Abstract: Techniques for modifying training data for video response quality optimization are provided. In one technique, training data is identified that is generated based on video presentation data that indicates multiple video items were presented to multiple entities. The training data comprises multiple training instances, each indicating a presentation of at least a portion of a video item to an entity. For each training instance in a subset of the training instances, a quality metric of the presentation of the video item indicated in said each training instance is computed and that training instance is modified based on the quality metric. After modifying one or more of the training instances, the model is trained using one or more machine learning techniques. In response to a content request, the model is used to determine whether to transmit a particular video item over a network to a computing device of a particular entity.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Shahriar Shariat Talkhoonche, Mohsen Jamali, Mohammad Ali Abbasi, Onkar A. Patent number: 11080062Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for address manipulation using indices and tags. A first index is generated from bits of a processor program counter, where the first index is used to access a branch predictor bimodal table. A first branch prediction is provided from the bimodal table, based on the first index. The first branch prediction is matched against N tables, where the tables contain prior branch histories, and where: the branch history in table T(N) is of greater length than the branch history of table T(N?1), and the branch history in table T(N?1) is of greater length than the branch history of table T(N?2). A processor address is manipulated using a greatest length of hits of branch prediction matches from the N tables, based on one or more hits occurring. The branch predictor address is manipulated using the first branch prediction from the bimodal table, based on zero hits occurring.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2020Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: MIPS Tech, LLCInventors: Parthiv Pota, Sanjay Patel, Raj Kumar Singh Parihar

Patent number: 11081212Abstract: A method for computing the release rate of a controlled release drug and medical device using a combination of imaging data and computational physics is described. The method employs a three-dimensional digital representation of a drug sample, derived from two-dimensional or three-dimensional imaging, which captures the drug active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), excipients, and porosity with distinctive contrasts. Direct numerical simulations are conducted on the three-dimensional digital representation to derive effective transport properties of the API going through a porous matrix or membrane. Drug release rate can be predicted more efficiently than laboratory-based methods. When there is strong heterogeneity presented in the drug, a further method is described that engages imaging and release simulations at multiple scales. Computerized systems and programs for performing the methods are also described.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2018Date of Patent: August 3, 2021Assignee: DigiM Solution LLCInventor: Shuang Zhang
