    Abstract: A color-developing sheet for pressure-sensitive copying paper sheets is obtained using an aqueous suspension of a color-developing composition containing a multivalent metal salt of a salicylic acid resin obtained from a salicylic acid ester and a mixture of styrenes which include a styrene dimer, which aqueous suspension is obtained by finely wet-grinding the color-developing composition in the presence of at least one anionic, water-soluble, high-molecular weight substance selected from (a) polyvinyl alcohol derivatives containing at least one sulfonic acid group thereof and salts thereof and (b) polymers and copolymers containing as an essential component a styrenesulfonic acid salt.

C. in the direction of thickness and is transparent; and a preparation process of the polyimide film by extruding the polyimide having recurring units of the above formula (I) through a common melt-extrusion process, casting in a chill-roller to obtain an unstretched film, uniaxially or biaxially stretching the unstretched film to cause molecular orientation, and successively setting the stretched film through heat-treatment.

    Abstract: A method for molding a polypropylene or a propylene copolymer having a syndiotactic structure which comprises the steps of melting, molding, if desired, quenching and then stretching a propylene homopolymer or a copolymer of propylene and a small amount of ethylene or another .alpha.-olefin which has a substantially syndiotactic structure, or a mixture of the same and a small amount of a polypropylene having a substantially isotactic structure. The molded and stretched article can be heated at a temperature of a molding temperature or more, while a load is applied to the article. Furthermore, the molded and stretched article, if desired, can be treated with a hydrocarbon vapor, while a load is applied to the article. The molded article obtained by the method of the present invention has a novel crystalline structure.

C. and a process further comprising recycling the remaining mother liquor having separated the glycine from the reaction solution obtained by the above process to the system comprising water, glycolonitrile, carbon dioxide and ammonia to carry out the aforesaid pre-reaction and/or main reaction.

    Abstract: A resin composition is herein provided which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polypropylene and 20 to 100 parts by weight of a hydrogenated styrene/butadiene or styrene/isoprene elastomeric block copolymer having a melt index of not less than 25 g/10 min as determined at a temperature of 230.degree. C. and a load of 2.16 kg/cm.sup.2. A method for manufacturing a coated molded article of the resin composition is herein provided and the method comprises the steps of molding said resin composition and then applying a coating directly without any preliminary surface treatment. This method can provide a molded article having low mold shrinkage factor and linear expansion coefficient, makes it possible to reduce the amount of fillers to be incorporated and is thus effective for making the weight of automobiles lighter.

Cyclohexyl acetate can be produced in high selectivity and high conversion. The catalyst is effective even at a low temperature and stable even at a high temperature.

The film has a high reflectance as well.

    Abstract: A resin composition for producing a film is provided. The composition comprises (A) a high-density polyethylene having predetermined melt flow rate, density and melt tension, (B) a propylene-based polymer having predetermined melt flow rate, (C) talc, (D) CaO and/or MgO, and (E) a surface active agent. The resin compositions is readily formable into a film having excellent strength and water resistance as well as paper-like texture and rigidity. A method for producing a film by blown-film extrusion from such a resin composition is also provided. In this method, both ratio of diameter of the resulting bubble to minimum diameter of the bubble and ratio of length in machine direction of the bubble with predetermined diameter to the die diameter are adjusted to fall within predetermined ranges.
