  • Patent number: 10942959
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for automated population of responses into query fields of a form are discussed. The responses are based on data in a networked user data repository maintained by a first party, and the form is presented by a second party. A login request for access to data in the user data repository may be received from a remote computing device. If access to the data in the user data repository is authorized, descriptors for at least one of the query fields may be received, and based on the descriptors, it may be determined whether any responses to any query fields are contained in the user data repository. Query fields may be populated with responses obtained through the data repository. The user provides the second party with information that is made available to the first party without separately inputting the information into the form of the second party.

  • Patent number: 10942520
Abstract: A method for using an autonomous vehicle includes receiving one or more user preferences for use of the autonomous vehicle. A destination is received for a trip using the autonomous vehicle. An arrival time is received for when the trip needs to be completed. A determination is made as to whether the user preferences includes a preference for physical activity for the trip. One or more routes are provided for the trip to the destination that permits the trip to be completed by the arrival time and that implements at least one of the user preferences. At least one of the routes comprises a hybrid route including one segment in which a physical activity selected by the user is suggested for traversing a distance of the one segment and another segment using the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10943220
Abstract: Systems and methods that facilitate a mobile wallet splitting payments to an invoice between multiple payment accounts are disclosed herein. The mobile wallet can receive an invoice, and then select a set of payment accounts to each pay a portion of the invoice. The mobile wallet can send the payment information to a point of sale device, indicating that the payment include multiple payments from different payment accounts. The point of sale device can then process the multiple payments, either sequentially, or in parallel. In an embodiment, the mobile wallet can receive partial payments from other mobile wallets for the invoice, collect the payments together, and send the payment information at once to the point of sale device for the set of mobile wallets.

  • Patent number: 10942178
Abstract: A device detects a target molecule in a sample in a sample container to measure the target molecule. A first particle is functionalized with a first binding molecule capable of specifically binding to said target molecule. A surface structure includes a second binding molecule. The surface structure covers a flat sensor or is present on a second particle. The first particle is capable of binding the second binding molecule of the surface structure directly or indirectly. The first and/or second binding molecule is indirectly attached to the particle surface of the first and/or second particle and/or the flat sensor surface via a long and rigid linker molecule. A length and a consistency of the linker molecule is selected such as to result in an average extension length of the linker of more than 60 nm. A number of particle clusters or of bound particles is directly or inversely related to an amount of the target molecules present in the sample.

  • Patent number: 10939866
Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to a system and method for determining sleep onset latency in a subject. The system is configured to generate output signals conveying information related to brain activity in the subject, determine sleep stages of the subject based on the output signals, determine a sleep onset moment in the subject based on the determined sleep stages, determine a sleep intention moment for the subject by: (i) detecting eye blinks in the subject based on the output signals, and determining the sleep intention moment responsive to the detected eye blinks ceasing for a predetermined period of time; and/or (ii) determining whether brain activity power in a target frequency band has breached a threshold power level based on the output signals, and determining the sleep intention moment responsive to a breach; and determine the sleep onset latency based on the sleep onset moment and the sleep intention moment.

  • Patent number: 10939894
Abstract: Ultrasound-based acoustic streaming for deciding whether material is fluid is dependent upon any one or more of a variety of criteria. Examples are displacement, speed, temporal or spatial flow variance, progressive decorrelation, slope or straightness of accumulated signal to background comparisons over time, and relative displacement to adjacent soft tissue. Echogenicity-based area identification is combinable with the above movement characteristic detection in the deciding. Fluid pool identification is performable from the area-limited acoustic streaming testing and ultrasound attenuation readings. Candidates from among the areas are screenable based on specific shapes or bodily organs detected. Natural flow can be excluded from streaming detection by identification of blood vessels. Processing for each FAST ultrasound view, or for the entire procedure, is performable automatically, without need for user intervention or with user intervention to identify suspected areas.

  • Patent number: 10943308
Abstract: A pervasive advisor for major purchases and other expenditures may detect that a customer is contemplating a major purchase (e.g., through active listening). The advisor may assist the customer with the timing and manner of making the purchase in a way that is financially sensible in view of the customer's financial situation. A customer may be provided with dynamically-updated information in response to recent actions that may affect an approved loan amount and/or interest rate. Underwriting of a loan may be triggered based on the geo-location of the user. Financial advice may be provided to customers to help them meet their goals using information obtained from third party sources, such as purchase options based on particular goals. The pervasive advisor may thus intervene to assist with budgeting, financing, and timing of major expenditures based on the customer's location and on the customer's unique and changing circumstances.
