  • Patent number: 9764123
Abstract: A needle-less connector includes a housing having a drug solution flow path, and an elastic valve body. An end surface of the housing on a side of a tip end opening of the drug solution flow path constitutes a protruding support surface whose center section protrudes and slopes in a direction of a foot, and the elastic valve body is superposed onto the protruding support surface in a state of close contact therewith. Insertion of a male luer into a slit of the elastic valve body causes expanding deformation of the elastic valve body along the protruding support surface. A flexion section is formed on a sloped surface of the protruding support surface, and the sloped surface has different tilt angles on a foot section side and on a crest section side of the flexion section.

  • Patent number: 9713426
Abstract: The position of blood vessels can be more appropriately specified by means of appropriately selecting, on the basis of the conditions and components utilized, and angle between a light emitting unit optical axis of a near-infrared light emitting unit and a normal light of an irradiated surface, and angle between an optical axis of a light receiving side lens and the normal line of the irradiated surface, and an angle between a light receiving surface of a photo diode array and the light receiving unit optical axis. Thus, the subcutaneous blood vessel depth in the direction of the normal line from the irradiated surface can be specified based on changes in illumination intensity in a photodiode array. Consequently, the position of subcutaneous blood vessels can be easily specified.

  • Patent number: 9707359
Abstract: The invention is configured so that pressurized gas from a pressurized gas supply source passes through a pressurized gas channel provided in a main body of a powder spraying device and is sprayed out. A powder container containing powder such as medical agents is provided on the main body. The powder within the powder container is supplied to the pressurized gas channel and is sprayed together with the pressurized gas. An eccentric rotor with a center of gravity deviated from a center of rotation is provided in the main body. When spraying the powder together with the pressurized gas, vibrations are applied to the main body and the powder container by a rotation of the eccentric rotor. The powder can be thereby mixed more evenly with the pressurized gas.

Abstract: A blood purifier comprises hollow fiber membranes allowing a dialysing fluid or a filtrated fluid to flow outside. The membrane has an effective length of 10 mm or more and 150 mm or less. A maximum value of a permeation flux Jv obtained by dividing a volume of a permeate fluid permeating through the membranes by a membrane area of the hollow fiber membranes and time, is represented as Jvmax. A linear velocity of blood flowing in the membrane is represented as uB. A pressure difference between blood flowing inside the membranes and a fluid flowing outside the membranes is represented as TMP. When a filling blood volume into the membranes per unit membrane area is 20 mL/m2 or more and 35 mL/m2 or less and Jvmax/uB has a value of 0.00015 or more and 0.0006 or less, a TMP change rate is 0.95 or more and 1.05 or less.
