    Abstract: A filter device has a catheter having a lumen, a shaft extended in the longitudinal direction from the lumen, and a filter capturing an embolus. Therefore, the movement of the ring in the longitudinal direction with respect to the shaft is prevented.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a hemiacetal ester prodrug of the pyridone carboxylic acid antibacterial drug, wherein the prodrug is characterized in that, (i) it is hydrolyzed promptly after intestinal absorption and regenerates the pyridone carboxylic acid antibacterial drug as a drug substance, (ii) a one-dose package is possible by preventing chelate-formation in intestines in an oral administration, and (iii) the normal bacterial flora of the intestinal bacterial flora is not influenced at all until the ester is absorbed, because the hemiacetal-type esterification is executed on the carboxylic acid which is a center of the antibacterial action, resulting in prevention of the pseudomembranous colitis. The prodrug is an alkoxy carbonyl hemiacetal-type ester represented by the chemical formula (I), which is useful as a prodrug for inhibiting the enteric-bacterium-shift side effect, and can be used in combination with polyvalent metal-containing medicines.

    Abstract: An infusion pump has a primary finger with an inclined surface, which is obliquely inclined to an advancing and retracting direction, and a secondary finger with an inclined surface, which is slidable relative to the inclined surface of the primary finger. When the primary finger is advanced, the secondary finger is retracted in proportion to the variation (increasing) in an entire width of an infusion tube, and when the primary finger is retracted, the secondary finger is advanced in proportion the variation (decreasing) in the entire width of the infusion tube. This configuration can suppress the occurrence of any gap between a tip surface of the secondary finger and an outer peripheral surface of the infusion tube in the advancing and retracting process of the primary finger. Consequently, this prevents the infusion tube from meandering, and suppresses the reduction in the accuracy of the rate of infusion.

A partial pressure resistor is connected between the ADJ terminal and an output terminal of the three-terminal regulator. Moreover, one end of six variable resistors whose resistances are set to be different from each other is connected to the ADJ terminal. The other end of the six variable resistors is selectively connected to the negative electrode of a battery by a change-over switch which is a rotary switch having six contacts. When the variable resistors are switched by the change-over switch, the output current of the three-terminal regulator becomes large. Thus, the rotation speed of a cutter which is rotated by the direct-current motor becomes high.
