Abstract: An improved system for thermal management is provided. The system includes thermally anisotropic composites coupled with a thermal loop to re-direct, reduce, and shape heat flows through a building envelope, having the potential to (1) significantly reduce envelope-generated heating and cooling loads and (2) provide grid services such as decreasing peak loads and shaping energy use. In one embodiment, the thermal management system includes an anisotropic composite that consists of alternating layers of thermal insulation and thermally conductive materials that are immediately adjacent to each other, including polyisocyanurate foam boards and aluminum sheets. The thermal management system also includes a thermal loop along the long edge or the entire the perimeter of the anisotropic composite, the thermal loop having dynamically controlled or floating temperature that is maintained at lower than an outdoor ambient temperature (for cooling).

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.
Abstract: A system includes a mobile device having a processor and memory. The mobile device determines that a new vehicle is assigned to an identified owner and responsively initiates a settings configuration process. The configuration process includes presenting existing vehicle system settings from an existing vehicle that can be transferred to the new vehicle, receiving selection of settings to be transferred, receiving editing of settings to be transferred, presenting configurable vehicle system settings for the new vehicle that can be configured, receiving configuration of the settings, and saving selected, edited and newly configured settings to a data set, which is then uploaded to a server for transfer to the new vehicle.

Abstract: A cloud-based network receives a public key of a public/private key pair and a credential for accessing secrets associated with a user network. The cloud-based network receives, from a user interface configured to facilitate remote control of the user network, a command to be executed at the user network. The cloud-based network encrypts, using the public key, the credential and the command. The cloud-based network forwards, to one or more client devices, the encrypted credential and command. The client devices are configured to decrypt the encrypted credential and command using a private key of the public/private key pair and execute the command on the user network.

Abstract: A liquid manifold can be assembled to an information technology (IT) rack to deliver and distribute fluid to IT equipment. The manifold can include a plurality of sections, each of the plurality of sections having one or more shut-off valves. One or more leak detection sensors can be arranged to detect leaks in any of the sections and in any of the IT equipment. A controller can control a shut-off valve to a closed position based on a detected leak. The design enables the manifold to better manage and control the fluid for mission critical IT equipment.
Abstract: Implementations are described herein for aggregating information responsive to a query from multiple different data feed services using machine learning. In various implementations, NLP may be performed on a natural language input comprising a query for information to generate a data feed-agnostic aggregator embedding (FAAE). A plurality of data feed services may be selected, each having its own data feed service action space that includes actions that are performable to access data via the data feed service. The FAAE may be processed based on domain-specific machine learning models corresponding to the selected data feed services. Each domain-specific machine learning model may translate between a respective data feed service action space and a data feed-agnostic semantic embedding space. Using these models, action(s) may be selected from the data feed service action spaces and performed to aggregate, from the plurality of data feed services, data that is responsive to the query.
Abstract: A method of training a language model for rare-word speech recognition includes obtaining a set of training text samples, and obtaining a set of training utterances used for training a speech recognition model. Each training utterance in the plurality of training utterances includes audio data corresponding to an utterance and a corresponding transcription of the utterance. The method also includes applying rare word filtering on the set of training text samples to identify a subset of rare-word training text samples that include words that do not appear in the transcriptions from the set of training utterances or appear in the transcriptions from the set of training utterances less than a threshold number of times. The method further includes training the external language model on the transcriptions from the set of training utterances and the identified subset of rare-word training text samples.
