Abstract: A perimeter barrier for a building structure includes a panel and a j-track coupled to a bottom of the panel. A top track and a z-vent are coupled to the building structure such that the top track and z-vent secure an upper portion of the panel. A top h-track is coupled to the panel and top track, and a bottom h-track is mounted to the panel and the j-track. In addition, a door is installed in the top h-track and the bottom h-track to provide access through the perimeter barrier to a space beneath the building structure. In addition, a kit for such types of components is disclosed.
Abstract: An electronic vaporizer device with a sealed, disposable, fillable cartridge is described, along with a method for refilling the cartridge. The electronic vaporizer includes a body which is held by the user and houses a battery. The body receives and couples with a cartridge with a reservoir for oil or other fluid to be vaporized. The cartridge also includes an atomizer which is powered by the battery via a connector terminal, a wick to provide oil to the atomizer from the oil reservoir, a vapor tube which transmits the vaporized oil to the user though a mouthpiece. In some embodiments, the user fills the reservoir of the cartridge by inserting a needle through a self-sealing septum. Further, the electronic vaporizer device includes a haptic device to provide haptic feedback to a user of the electronic vaporizer to communicate operating states of the electronic vaporizer.
Abstract: An improved wellhead electrical connection assembly utilizing upper and lower retention mechanisms to minimize pressure and fluid leakage in the event of a tubing part or other failure. The upper retention mechanism ensures the connection assembly remains within a tubing hanger. The lower retention mechanism provides a secure connection to a downhole cable that can breakaway without damaging or dislodging other components of the assembly during an emergency event.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve utilizing network threat information to manage one or more security devices or policies of a communication network. The security system may receive threat intelligence data or information associated with potential threats to a communications network and process the threat intelligence data to determine one or more configurations to apply to security devices of a network. The system may then generate a rule or action to respond to the identified attack, such as a firewall rule for a firewall device to block traffic from the source of the attack. The threat intelligence information may include a confidence score indicating a calculated confidence in the identification of the malicious communications, which may be utilized by the system to determine the type of action taken on the security devices of the network in response to the information or data.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for the generation and interactive display of three-dimensional (3D) models that accurately represent buildings and other large, complex objects possessing both internal and external features. More specifically, an exterior mesh can be generated that captures all the external features of the building. An interior mesh can also be generated that captures all the internal features of the building. The exterior mesh and the interior mesh may be layered and combined using geographical coordinates (e.g., global positioning system (GPS) data) in order to create a combined mesh that can be used to render a 3D model of the object. Any images taken of external or internal features may also be appended to the 3D model or even overlaid on the 3D model (like textures), based on the location and directional view associated with those images.
Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for ceasing transmission repetition. One apparatus includes a transmitter that transmits data to a base unit in a first transmission time interval (“TTI”). Here, the data is configured for transmission with a predetermined number of repetitions. The apparatus includes a receiver that receives a control signal from the base unit in a second TTI. The apparatus includes a processor that determines whether the control signal corresponds to the data and, in response to the control signal corresponding to the data, determines whether to cease at least one transmission repetition of the data before the number of repetitions reaches the predetermined number.
Abstract: Expandable intervertebral spacer system having a top plate and a bottom plate which are separated and held apart a changeable distance forming a cage. The plates are held apart by four locking mechanisms in the cage at or near the corners or the periphery of the plates, leaving the cavity of the cage substantially unobstructed. Each locking mechanism is made of two saw-toothed posts that cooperate to lock the top plate a desired distance from the bottom plate. The saw-tooth posts are biased against each other with a spring. Once the spacer is implanted in a patient with a removable insertion tool, the top and bottom plates are forced apart incrementally, one saw tooth at a time, in a ratchet-like motion, using a removable expansion mechanism. Optionally, each stanchion is surrounded by a sheath to prevent bone particles and other debris from interfering with the mating of the saw teeth.

Abstract: A method for estimating the weight of loads carried by implements may include controlling an implement subject to actual weighing conditions to lift a load and receiving an input indicative of a sensed force associated with lifting the load. The method may further include determining a correlation value indicative of a correlation between first and second force values for lifting a given load with the implement as a function of the actual weighing conditions and as a function of nominal weighing conditions, respectively, where at least one of the actual weighing conditions differs from at least one of the nominal weighing conditions. Furthermore, the method may include determining an adjusted force value for lifting the load based at least in part on the sensed force and the correlation value. Additionally, the method may include estimating the weight of the load based at least in part on the adjusted force value.

Abstract: Methods for manufacturing cartridges for fluid mixture dispensers are disclosed herein. For example, the cartridges can be ingredient cartridges for fluid mixture dispensers each holding a set of discrete ingredients in a set of ingredient reservoirs. The methods of manufacturing the cartridges can include configuring the cartridges with loadouts including selecting specific ingredients, selecting a number of reservoirs, and selecting a relative size of the various reservoirs. The methods can also include collecting a set of population data using a network of fluid mixture dispensing devices, analyzing the set of population data, and configuring the cartridges so that they are each optimized for a consumption pattern using the set of population data. The methods can further include filling the cartridge reservoirs according to the loadout and packaging the cartridges for shipment.

Abstract: A method for storing energy in a device upon acceleration of the device. The method including: permitting a first movable member configured to be movable in one direction relative to a base; biasing the first movable member in a second direction opposed to the first direction; permitting a plurality of second movable members, to be each movable towards an engagement surface of the first movable member when subjected to a predetermined acceleration event in a direction offset from the first direction; and sequentially engaging a portion of the engagement surface, which when pressed causes a movement of the first movable member in the one direction against a biasing force of the first biasing member, upon an increasing acceleration of the base such that energy is stored in the first biasing member.
Abstract: A computing system includes a memory device, a persistent storage device, and a processor. The persistent storage device includes a filesystem having filesystem objects and a protection system stored thereon. The protection system includes a filesystem minifilter driver and a protection service. The minifilter driver intercepts an input/output (I/O) event directed to a target filesystem object and extracts system event metadata from the I/O event. The system event metadata includes an identifier of the target filesystem object. The system event metadata is transmitted to the protection service and recorded in a record file. A backup copy of the target filesystem object created. The I/O event is released after recordation of the system event metadata and creation of the backup copy, thereby enabling the I/O event to be performed on the target filesystem object. During a system restore operation, the target filesystem object is replaced with the backup copy.
