Abstract: Method for pairing a Wi-Fi type terminal with a Wi-Fi type access point connected to a display unit, the pairing method comprising the steps, implemented by the access point, of: detecting the presence of a terminal; detecting whether the terminal is located near the access point; if the presence of the terminal near the access point is detected, displaying a message proposing to pair the terminal to the access point on the display unit; when a pairing acceptance signal is received, displaying a pairing information message on the display unit providing assistance for pairing the terminal with the access point.

Abstract: A synchronization method performed for a first piece of audio equipment connected to a wireless network via a first radio point that is identified by a first BSSID, the method comprising the steps of: detecting a second piece of audio equipment connected to the same wireless network and forming part of the same audio group; acquiring a second BSSID of a second radio point via which the second piece of audio equipment is connected to the wireless network, and then determining whether the first BSSID and the second BSSID are identical; if not, performing a selection stage to select an optimum radio point that is identified by an optimum BSSID; if the optimum BSSID is different from the first BSSID, connecting the first piece of audio equipment to the wireless network via the optimum radio point.

The method includes a first static programming phase including configuring the video output register; writing n images in the memory, n being an integer higher than or equal to two; writing into the memory of a plurality of nodes, such that each node includes the address in the memory of at least one portion of an image, as well as the address of the following node in the memory, the last node including the address in the random-access memory of the first node; and configuring the display register. The method also includes a second phase in which the n images are read by the display chip by the display register, to display the animation.

Abstract: A method for configuring a wireless communication coverage extension system is described. The latter comprises a backhaul subnetwork in tree form comprising a plurality of interconnected nodes. At least two nodes directly connected to an internet access gateway are identified among the nodes of the backhaul subnetwork. A single node is selected from the at least two identified nodes to be the node through which a configuration of the wireless communication coverage extension system is defined. The configuration of the wireless communication coverage extension system defined is then sent from the selected node to all the other nodes of the backhaul subnetwork.

Abstract: A method is provided for installing a new node in a wireless home network having a client network and includes a node able to form a mesh network. A connection of a new node to the client network supplied by the home network node is detected, and an identifier of a client device that is connected to the client network is received. If the client device is known to the home network: the new node is notified that the client device that is connected to the client network must be disconnected from the client network; a connection of the client device to the client network supplied by the node of the home network is detected; and identifiers of the mesh network are transferred to the new node if the connection of the disconnected client device to the client network supplied by the node of the domestic network is detected.

Abstract: A method and device for pairing a terminal with an access point of a wireless communication network, the network including access points or executing access points, the executing access points coordinate in a centralised manner by an access point fulfilling the manager function, or managing access point. The method includes: —a message received from an executing access point including information that a terminal wishes to pair with the access point; —for each executing access point, information is obtained representing at least one time slot wherein the executing access point is authorised to establish a WPS pairing session with the new terminal, each time slot being separate from the other; —a message is sent to each executing access point including at least the information representing the at least one time slot wherein the executing access point is authorised to establish a WPS pairing session with the new terminal.

Abstract: A method for connecting a node of a wireless-communication coverage-extension system is provided. The node determines whether it has been moved out of an initial local area network. In the case where the node has been moved, a local area network is established from the moved node by activating an address server functionality. The moved node is then connected to a point of access to the internet. A secure tunnel is next established between the moved node and a master node coordinating the initial local area network. The address server functionality is then deactivated and a client functionality of an address server of the initial local area network is activated.

Abstract: In a secure end-to-end transmission of data between a first device and a second device via a message broker, the following are performed: a sharing of an entropy pool between the first device and the second device via the message broker, by means of signalling messages, any payload of which is encrypted asymmetrically and which comprise a message signature; and a transmission of subsequent messages between the first device and the second device via the message broker, each said subsequent message comprising a header and a payload, the header comprising an identifier of an authentication key obtained from the shared entropy pool and an identifier of a symmetrical encryption key obtained from the shared entropy pool, the payload being encrypted symmetrically by means of the symmetrical encryption key, and the whole formed by the header and the payload being authenticated by means of a message authentication code obtained by means of the authentication key and inserted in the header.
