  • Patent number: 12024960
Abstract: A system for adapting drilling of a borehole in a subterranean formation based on comparing a received cuttings weight to an expected cuttings weight. The system comprises a processor; a non-transitory memory; at least one display; and an application stored in the non-transitory memory that, when executed by the processor, determines the received cuttings weight based on data received from a cuttings storage unit (CSU); determines the expected cuttings weight based on a current borehole depth, on a drill bit geometry, and on a cuttings density value; and presents a representation of the received cuttings weight and a representation of the expected cuttings weight on the at least one display, whereby at least one parameter of drilling of the borehole is adapted based on comparing the representation of the received cuttings to the representation of the expected cuttings weight.

  • Patent number: 12026135
Abstract: A data management system includes a computing device. The computing device includes one or more processors to execute instructions stored in memory of the computing device. The instructions, when executed by the computer device, cause the computing device to receive an indication that multiple data elements are ready for evaluation, as well as determine whether metadata registration for the multiple data elements is valid. The instructions also cause the computing device to determine a data quality of the multiple data elements by evaluating multiple data elements based on multiple data quality dimensions including at least two of: validity, completeness, uniqueness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness. The instructions also cause the computing device to provide an indication of the data quality of the multiple data elements via a graphical user interface (GUI) generated via a centralized data mart.

  • Patent number: 12028340
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for data segmentation to improve security is described. The method includes receiving a request, from a client device of a user, for authentication information; parsing the request; based on the parsing, determining an authentication score that represents a likelihood that the request is from an authenticated device; determining, from the authentication score, a number of segments into which the requested authentication information is divided; and for each of the segments, assigning one or more portions of the authentication information to that segment, in which each segment is associated with one or more times at which to transmit information assigned to that segment, and at one or more times specified by that segment, transmitting one or more portions of the authentication information assigned to that segment to the client device.

  • Patent number: 12026749
Abstract: A social media platform can display a content item specifically targeted to a user by a targeting algorithm. The content item can display a graphic icon next to the content item. The user can select the graphic icon and provide input to the social media platform. For example, the user can log in a third-party platform, which can transmit certain data to the social media platform. Using the transmitted data, a de-targeting algorithm can block the content item. The de-targeting algorithm can also block unwanted content items in the future.

  • Patent number: 12026459
Abstract: A method may include obtaining a document and using a first prediction model to generate text block scores for text blocks in the document, where a first text block of the text blocks is associated with a first text block score of the plurality of text block scores. The method also includes updating, in response to the first text block score for the first text block failing to satisfy a criterion, a modified version of the document with an indicator to set the first text block as a hidden text block in a presentation of the modified version. The method also includes generating a summarization of the first text block based on the words in the first text block and updating the modified version of the document to include the summarization. • Patent number: 12023049
Abstract: Methods and devices for consistently and accurately controlling the depth of the graft tunnel. A sheath is inserted into the bone until a stop member on the sheath contacts the bone. A cutting member is then deployed to drill a larger bore in the tunnel until making contact with the distal end of the sheath. The cutting member may be drawn retrograde within the tunnel, or driven antegrade from an opening opposite the opening in which the sheath resides. The drill and the sheath can then be removed, leaving the tunnel that includes a tunnel portion sized to fit a graft so that the graft fits tightly within the tunnel portion and is flush with the opening of the tunnel.

  • Patent number: 12026688
Abstract: Systems and methods for performing a transaction with a headless point-of-sale or automated teller machine (ATM) device are disclosed using a card having a second communications path to a financial services provider. A card having a display and radio frequency (RF) communications module may be authenticated with a headless point-of-sale device using a short-range RF communications link. Characteristics of the card may be set prior to the transaction. Transaction information may be provided to the display of the card from the headless point-of-sale device. A customer may confirm the transaction at the card using a touch-sensitive input area. During the processing, a communication may be made over the second communications path to authorize the transaction independently of the transaction processing path. A transaction may then be completed at the headless point-of-sale device.

  • Patent number: 12026249
Abstract: Methods, media and systems for screening content for malicious content in a web browser are disclosed. Document object model (DOM) elements are retrieved from the content displayed in the web browser. A link to visit a web site included in the DOM elements is identified. The identified link is compared to a list of permitted sources. Information is scanned to determine whether the information matches records of content transmitted by a primary source among the permitted sources.
