Abstract: A password-less authentication system and method include registering a contactless card of a client with an application service and binding the contactless card to one or more client devices. The contactless card advantageously stores a username and a dynamic password. Accesses by the client to the application service may be made using any client device, and authentication of the accesses may be performed by any client device that includes a contactless card interface and can retrieve the username and dynamic password pair from the contactless card. By storing the username on the card, rather than requiring user input, application security improved because access to and knowledge of login credentials is limited. In addition, the use of a dynamic password reduces the potential of malicious access.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for allowing an account holder to authorize an entity to issue pull requests for funds to be transferred using real time payment rails. A first account representing a store of central bank digital currency (CBDC) of a first user may be linked with a second account representing a store of central bank digital currency (CBDC) of a second user. A request may be received, from one of the first and second user, to transfer CBDC from the first account to the second account. From another of the first and second user, an authorization may be received to transfer the CBDC. In response to the authorization, an entry may be written to a blockchain ledger effecting the requested transfer of the CBDC from the first account to the second account.

Abstract: A ratiometric system for autonomous lubrication of oilwell production equipment. In one arrangement a lubrication pump is fluidly connected to a stuffing box on an oilwell pumping unit. The interval for lubrication and the duration of lubrication is managed by an event sequencer that is electrically connected to the well controller for the pumping unit. The well controller senses a completed cycle of the pumping unit and produces an electronic pulse that can be counted. The event sequencer counts the pulses as they occur. A lubrication cycle is triggered when the sequencer reaches a count corresponding to a predetermined value. The amount of lubrication supplied is directly related to the number of completed cycles of the pumping unit.

Abstract: A system and method for performing a reservoir evaluation are disclosed. The method includes obtaining a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) dataset for a plurality of samples and obtaining an NMR log for a wellbore penetrating a reservoir. The method further includes determining a rock facies description for each sample, determining an NMR transverse relaxation time (NMR T2) distribution from the NMR dataset, and determining a set of parameters characterizing the NMR T2 distribution based on one or more predetermined parameters. The method still further includes identifying a plurality of NMR facies based, at least in part, on the set of parameters for each sample, determining a transformation that maps a subset of rock facies to a subset of the plurality of NMR facies, and performing the reservoir evaluation based, at least in part, on applying the transformation to the NMR log.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are method, computer program product, and system embodiments for real-time loyalty rewards redemption. A user may earn rewards in a rewards system that have an equivalent value to a digital asset such as a cryptocurrency asset (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.), crypto tokens (e.g., ERC-20, Dogecoin, etc.), and/or the like. A user device (e.g., mobile device, smart device, etc.) may request to redeem the rewards value in the form of the digital asset, initiating transfer of the digital asset from an asset management system to a digital wallet of the user device. The transfer of the digital asset from the asset management system to the digital wallet of the user device happens in real-time. After the digital asset is transferred to the user device, it may be exchanged for monetary value via a third party redemption service or used as payment.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may provide determination of a pedestrian route for a user to reach a seating area inside of a venue. Financial transaction data of the user may be reviewed to determine the user purchased one or more tickets to an event at the venue. Information regarding the event or the venue may be determined including seating charts for the venue and whether the tickets are for assigned or unassigned seats. Crowd densities inside and outside of the venue may be determined. The pedestrian route may be determined based on the crowd densities, number of tickets, and type of seating. The route may be updated as conditions change including any change to the crowd densities or change to seating availability. The route may increase a likelihood that the user reaches the seating area prior to a start of the event, and in a less stressful manner.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for automatically analyzing handwritten text to determine a mismatch between a purported writer and an actual writer is disclosed. The method comprises receiving two samples of digitized handwriting each allegedly created by one individual and received and entered into a digital system by another. The method further comprises performing a series of feature extractions to convert the samples into two vectors of extracted features; automatically clustering a set of vectors such that the first vector and the second vector are assigned to the same cluster among multiple clusters, based on vector similarity; and automatically determining that a same individual being associated with both the first and second samples indicates a heightened probability that the individual fraudulently created both samples. Finally, the method comprises automatically transmitting a message to flag additional samples of digitized handwriting entered into a digital system as possibly fraudulent.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an aqueous gellable composition that includes water; 10 to 45 composition wt. % of a crosslinkable water-soluble polymer including at least one functional group selected from the group of carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid derivative; 1 to 10 composition wt. % of an organic or inorganic crosslinking agent for the crosslinkable water-soluble polymer; 10 to 40 composition wt. % of a polyurethane polymer; and 0.1 to 5 composition wt. % of a natural polymer. The organic crosslinking agent includes at least one compound from the group of: polyalkyleneimines, polyalkylene polyamines, phenolic compounds combined with formaldehyde, and hydroquinone combined with hexamethylenetetramine. Also, the inorganic crosslinking agent includes at least one metal compound M, wherein M is from the group of: aluminum(III), chromium(III), iron(III), zirconium(III), and any mixture thereof.

Abstract: Systems for document type detection during a document upload process are disclosed. Character recognition processes are performed on images of a document being uploaded to a backend system. The character recognition processes may identify different subsets of characters in the document which are used to identify the document type. Subsets of characters may include keywords and account characters and each subset may be processed by a different character recognition process. One or both of the subsets of characters may be used to identify the document type and the identified document type may be used to decide whether to proceed with the document upload process.

Abstract: Systems and methods for predicting item group composition are disclosed. A system for predicting item group composition may include a memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute instructions to perform operations including: receiving entity identification information and a timestamp associated with a transaction without receiving information distinguishing items associated with the transaction; determining, based on the entity identification information, a localized machine learning model trained to predict categories of items based on transaction information applying to all of the items associated with the transaction; and applying the localized machine learning model to a model input to generate predicted categories of items associated with the transaction, the model input including the received entity identification information and a timestamp but not including information distinguishing items associated with the transaction.

Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a processing network computer from a relying party computer associated with a relying party, a request for data associated with a user operating a user device. The processing network computer may retrieve first encrypted data of the user having a user-layer of encryption. The processing computer can then generate a second symmetric key to add a relying party-layer of encryption to the first encrypted data using a stream cipher. The doubly encrypted data may be transmitted to a user device that removes the user-layer of encryption on the first doubly encrypted data, and then adds a second relying party-layer of encryption to form second doubly encrypted data. The second doubly encrypted data may be transmitted to the relying party computer, which can remove both relying party-layers of encryption to gain access to the data associated with the user.

Abstract: Methods and systems for manipulating surface topology of additively manufactured fluid interacting structures, such as additively manufactured heat exchangers or airfoils, and associated additively manufactured articles, are disclosed. In one aspect, an article which interacts with a fluid is imparted with surface topology features which affect performance parameters related to the fluid flow. The topological features may be sequenced, combined, intermixed, and functionally varied in size and form to locally manipulate and co-optimize multiple performance parameters at each or selectable differential lengths along a flow path. The co-optimization method may uniquely prioritize selectable performance parameters at different points along the flow path to improve or enhance overall system performance.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to applying, via contactless card authentication, one or more restrictions to a virtual card number and generating the card number for use by a recipient. The one or more restrictions may be specifically personalized to the recipient and may include, for example, a merchant restriction, an amount restriction, a time period restriction, or a location restriction. The generated virtual card number along with the applied one or more restrictions may be consumed in various ways, such as writing the number to a blank card, transmitting the number directly to the recipient's computing device, etc., all via near-field communication.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for improving anomaly detection in timeseries datasets. Different machine learning models may be trained to process specific types of timeseries data efficiently and accurately. Thus, selecting a proper machine learning model for identifying anomalies in a specific set of timeseries data may greatly improve accuracy and efficiency of anomaly detection. Another way to improve anomaly detection is to process a multitude of timeseries datasets for a time period (e.g., 90 days) to detect anomalies from those timeseries datasets and then correlate those detected anomalies by generating an anomaly timeseries dataset and identifying anomalies within the anomaly timeseries dataset. Yet another way to improve anomaly detection is to divide a dataset into multiple datasets based on a type of anomaly detection requested.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments pertain to provisioning a virtual payment card for an authorized user in a browser. A primary cardholder can request the addition of an individual as an authorized user on the primary cardholder's account. Further information regarding the individual can be solicited and utilized to compute a risk score associated with adding the individual as an authorized user. Further processing of the request, including whether to terminate or continue, can be based on comparing the risk score to a predetermined threshold. If processing is continued, a virtual payment card linked to the primary cardholder account is generated. Next, the virtual card can be added as a payment method to a browser profile of the individual on a network-accessible computing resource. Subsequently, the authorized user can access the virtual card to make online shopping payments with a web browser personalized with the browser profile.

Abstract: Systems for performing instant optical character recognition (OCR) of documents to be uploaded to a server process for allowing mid-stream adjustments during the document upload process. are disclosed. A system may include a mobile device with a document upload application and a backend system to which a document is to be uploaded. The backend system may initiate the OCR process automatically upon receiving images of documents to be uploaded and provide options to the document upload application for managing the upload process based on the results of the OCR process.

Abstract: A method may include: introducing a resin modified cement slurry into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation, the subterranean formation comprising a caprock and a carbon dioxide injection zone, the resin modified cement slurry comprising: a resin; a hardener, a hydraulic cement; and water; and setting the resin modified cement slurry to form a set cement wherein the set cement forms a carbonation-resistant barrier in the carbon dioxide injection zone in the subterranean formation.

Abstract: A chloride salt eliminator system and method for removal of chloride salt from glycol circulated through a reboiler in natural gas dehydration, in a continuous process, close to the wellhead. Hot glycol from the reboiler is pumped into a salt eliminator unit having independently replaceable filter elements which trap chloride salts which are not soluble in hot glycol and pass clean glycol for return to the reboiler.
