Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to a method and system for mapping or visualizing the magnetic fields and their associated field strengths of an object, such as a mobile computing device. An example source of the magnetic fields may be a near-field communication (NFC) reader configured in the object. A computer vision system or device may track a visual marker arranged near or on a magnetic field strength detector in order to associate, match, or map the magnetic field strength measurement readings of the detector at different positions or locations on the object. The computer vision system may generate and display a heat map of the object based on at least the magnetic field strength measurements and their relative positions.

  • Publication number: 20240241201
Abstract: A measurement volume is divided into multiple regions of interest (ROIs) and RF shimming parameters are independently selected for each of the ROIs. The ROIs have dimensions based on an RF wavelength in a specimen (i.e., based on RF frequency and specimen dielectric constant) and are selected to reduce wavelength-based nonuniformity in specimen excitation. For a multi-segment RF coil having segments situated about a cylindrical surface, ROI shapes include cylinders and cylindrical shells aligned along a coil axis.

  • Publication number: 20240242220
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for generating and using biometric-based account numbers. A binary representation of biometric data of a first user may be received and reduced using an encoding process to generate a unique portion of an account number for the first user that is stored in a data store. The first user may be provided a certification mechanism that includes a chip storing the encoding process and a biometric scanning device. In response to an attempt by an unknown user to perform an interaction using the certification mechanism, a value generated by the certification mechanism may be received, and a match may be determined between the value and the unique portion of the account number stored in the data store, the match indicating the unknown user is the first user. Based on the match, the interaction may be authorized and the value is used to perform the interaction.

  • Patent number: 12038915
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for proving feedback on database instructions, identifying, for example, existing patterns and providing suggested replacement instructions. This may have the effect of improving the efficiency of instructions used to create and/or manipulate databases. According to some aspects, these and other benefits may be achieved by parsing received instructions into an organizational structure, traversing the organizational structure for known patterns, and suggesting replacement patterns. In implementation, this may be effected by receiving one or more sets of known patterns and corresponding replacement patterns, parsing received instructions, comparing the known patterns with the parsed instructions, and providing suggested replacement patterns based on one or more known patterns matching the parsed instructions. A benefit of may include reducing Cartesian products during the merging of tables.
