  • Patent number: 12032956
Abstract: Techniques are described to automate deployment of an application as a cloud computing service. Such deployment may be accomplished on any underlying host infrastructure. As mentioned above, a typical application may engage in a number of build and deployment processes in order to run on a host computer with an infrastructure type. The techniques described herein may leverage an artificial intelligence computation library to identify which build and deployment processes are required by the application. Once identified, the user may select a host infrastructure type and create a container package with a runtime machine and components configure to run these build and deployment processes for that host infrastructure type. The container package may be used to generate an image from which the host computer can run the application as the cloud computing service. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 12032910
Abstract: Systems described herein may use transformer-based machine classifiers to perform a variety of natural language understanding tasks including, but not limited to sentence classification, named entity recognition, sentence similarity, and question answering. The exceptional performance of transformer-based language models is due to their ability to capture long-term temporal dependencies in input sequences. Machine classifiers may be trained using training data sets for multiple tasks, such as but not limited to sentence classification tasks and sequence labeling tasks. Loss masking may be employed in the machine classifier to jointly train the machine classifier on multiple tasks simultaneously. The user of transformer encoders in the machine classifiers, which treat each output sequence independently of other output sequences, in accordance with aspects of the invention do not require joint labeling to model tasks.

  • Patent number: 12033352
Abstract: The present disclosure herein provides methods and systems that solves the technical problems of generating an efficient, accurate and light-weight 3-Dimensional (3-D) pose estimation framework for estimating the 3-D pose of an object present in an image used for the 3-dimensional (3D) model registration using deep learning, by training a composite network model with both shape features and image features of the object. The composite network model includes a graph neural network (GNN) for capturing the shape features of the object and a convolution neural network (CNN) for capturing the image features of the object. The graph neural network (GNN) utilizes the local neighbourhood information through the image features of the object and at the same time maintaining global shape property through the shape features of the object, to estimate the 3-D pose of the object.

  • Patent number: 12032563
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for proving feedback on database instructions, identifying, for example, existing patterns and providing suggested replacement instructions. This may have the effect of improving the efficiency of instructions used to create and/or manipulate databases. According to some aspects, these and other benefits may be achieved by parsing received instructions into an organizational structure, traversing the organizational structure for known patterns, and suggesting replacement patterns. In implementation, this may be effected by receiving one or more sets of known patterns and corresponding replacement patterns, parsing received instructions, comparing the known patterns with the parsed instructions, and providing suggested replacement patterns based on one or more known patterns matching the parsed instructions. A benefit of may include reducing Cartesian products during the merging of tables.

  • Patent number: 12033498
Abstract: One or more traffic-data sets including traffic probes, which include one or more identifiable items of information obtained from one or more traffic probe devices, are obtained. A traffic flow prediction to be validated is selected. The selected traffic flow prediction is associated with a road segment and a time period. A list of traffic probes to be used in validating the traffic flow prediction is generated. The list of traffic probes includes information obtained from traffic probe devices that travelled an entire length of the road segment during the time period. Travel times of the traffic probe devices that travelled an entire length of the road segment during the time period are ordered, and outliers are removed from the list of traffic probes. A validated traffic-flow prediction is generated based on traffic probes remaining in the list of traffic probes, and the validated traffic-flow prediction is transmitted to an end-user processing device.

  • Patent number: 12033149
Abstract: A payment card security system includes a payment card provider account system communicatively coupled to a payment card transaction device and a mobile device. The payment card transaction device sends an indication that a payment card is being used to perform a transaction. The payment card provider account system includes processors that receive the indication that the payment card is being used to perform the transaction from the payment card transaction device. The processors also send a notification indicating that the payment card is being used to perform the transaction. The processors further enable authorization of the transaction via the mobile device.
