Abstract: A system for presenting video images from a vehicle environment includes taking video images of the vehicle environment, detecting sensor data of the vehicle environment or the vehicle, processing the sensor data, recognizing objects in the video images, and visualizing the processed sensor data in the displayed video images by changing the representation of recognized objects in the displayed video images.

Abstract: An audio system includes a first transformation device provided with an input audio signal and which transforms the input audio signal from the time domain to the frequency domain resulting in an input spectrum. The system also includes a spectral processing device, which is connected downstream from the first transformation device, that receives the input spectrum and produces from it an output spectrum with a dynamic range that is reduced from that of the input spectrum. The system further includes a second transformation device connected downstream from the spectral processing device, and provided with the output spectrum. The second transformation device transforms the output spectrum from the frequency domain to the time domain, and provides an output audio signal.

Abstract: In order to provide a device for separating wet paint overspray from an exhaust air flow containing overspray particles, wherein the overspray particles pass into the exhaust air flow in an application region of a painting assembly and wherein the device comprises at least one separation device for separating the overspray from at least a part of the exhaust air flow, in which clogging of the separation device with wet paint overspray is substantially prevented during a cleaning operation and/or ingress of precoat material into the application region from the region of the separation device is substantially prevented during a precoating operation, it is proposed that the device comprises at least one closing device, by means of which the flow path of the exhaust air flow from the application region to the separation device can be intermittently closed off at least partially, and at least one precoat feeding means, which discharges a precoat material into the exhaust air flow downstream of the closing device.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining the particle size and/or particle shape of a mixture of particles is provided, comprising a feeding device, which passes the mixture of particles through a zone of measurement as a particle flow; an illumination module, which generates illumination beams and illuminates the zone of measurement with them; a detection module comprising two cameras, each recording an area of the zone of measurement assigned to the respective camera, said cameras recording the areas with different magnifications, and comprising an evaluating module, which determines the particle size and/or particle shape on the basis of the recordings of the cameras, characterized in that the illumination module is provided such that it illuminates the two areas with different intensities.

Abstract: A component support having at least one insert card reception chamber with two insert card guidance devices, which have oppositely located guides for receiving at least one insert card. The guides are arranged and spaced apart from each other by a size of a height of the insert card. Insert cards of different structural height can be installed in the component support if the insert card receptacle is divided at a half of the height between the two guides by a guide rail. The guide rails, together with the guides of the insert card guidance devices, form partial receptacles, into which printed circuit boards of a reduced insert card height can be introduced.

Abstract: A cooling arrangement with a housing for receiving electronic printed circuit boards or plug-in modules, and with an air-conditioning device which is connected via a coolant-conducting feed line and a return-flow line with at least one electronic component, to be cooled, on the respective printed circuit board or the plug-in module. The feed line is coupled with at least one component feed line assigned to the electronic component. The return-flow line is coupled with at least one component return-flow line assigned to the electronic component. The printed circuit board or the plug-in module has an area for fitting electronic components and a coupling area for coupling the feed line with the component feed line and for coupling the return-flow line with the component return-flow line.

Abstract: A multiple photosensor pixel image sensor sense differentiated color components of light. The multiple photosensor pixel image sensor has a plurality of photo-sensing devices formed with the surface of the substrate. Each photo-sensing device has a structure adjusted to convert photons of the light to photoelectrons representative of a magnitude of the color component of the light for which the structure of the photo-sensing device is adjusted. Each multiple photosensor pixel image sensor includes at least one storage node to selectively receive photoelectrons from each photo-sensing device and triggering switches connected to selectively and sequentially transfer the photoelectrons from each of the plurality of photo-sensing devices to the storage node. At least one reset triggering switch is connected to the one storage node to place the storage node to a reset voltage level after integration and sensing of the photoelectrons.

Abstract: A gas generator for use in a safety arrangement for vehicles comprises a combustion chamber and a gas-generating propellant contained in the combustion chamber, the propellant having an auto-ignition temperature of more than about 200 degrees C., and an outer wall having a wall section directly adjoining a part of the propellant. The wall section has a smaller wall thickness than the outer wall adjacent to the wall section and is arranged relative to the propellant so that the portion of the propellant adjoining the wall section heats up to the auto-ignition temperature under bonfire conditions faster than the propellant in the rest of the combustion chamber.

Abstract: A system is presented for the multipath reception of video signals, including sound an/or image signals. The system includes at least two receivers and a diversity unit. At least one receiver receives and processes analog video signals, while the one or more remaining receivers receive and process digital video signals. The system may further include an analog selector unit for selecting the highest quality analog signal, and/or a digital selector unit for selecting the highest quality digital signal. The diversity unit receives the processed analog and digital video signals and combines them to produce a resulting video signal having a quality at least as high as the better of the processed analog and digital video signals. The diversity unit may combine the received video signals by performing a weighted addition of the signals.

Abstract: An electrical plug-and-socket connector includes a housing having chambers for receiving contacts. Latches of the chambers hold contacts inserted in the chambers. The housing has first and second openings with pairs of the first and second openings respectively leading into the chambers. A flap attached to the housing is pivotable to either open away from the housing or close against the housing. The flap includes first projections which extend through the first openings into the chambers when the flap is closed to lock contacts held in the chambers. The flap includes second projections which extend through the second openings into the chambers when the flap is closed and when the contacts held in the chambers are positioned correctly in the chambers to engage the contacts and thereby reinforce the locking of the contacts held in the chambers.

Abstract: A filter box having an integrated vent solenoid to connect to the atmospheric port of an automotive emission storage canister in relation to the fuel tank of the vehicle, used to recapture fuel vapor before it is released into the atmosphere. The filter box with integrated vent solenoid is sealed to the atmospheric port of the canister, and consists of a filter housing with an internal feature to house and retain a vent solenoid, an optional foam filter to protect the vent solenoid and the canister against dust, and a filter cap to retain the filter foam. A closed cell foam or rubber O-ring provides a sealing between the filter cap and the filter housing. A labyrinth-type filter means is integrated within the cap of the filter box assembly and provides for separation of the air and dust traveling through the filter box, and a further sealing means provides a leak tight seal between the filter box and the canister.
