  • Patent number: 7403304
Abstract: A method is provided for optimized color reproduction of a color original image by a color reproduction device. Color values of a color space of the original image are determined. A color space of the color reproduction device is determined. The color spaces of the original image and of the color reproduction device are compared and it is established which color range of the original image cannot be reproduced by the color reproduction device. Via a color adaption method, an adaption of the non-reproducible color range of the original image, and of a boundary range bordering this non-reproducible color range, to the color space of the color reproduction device is provided. Then an image-specific color association is generated. The original image is output by the image reproduction device according to the image-specific color association.

  • Patent number: 7402035
Abstract: An apparatus for thermoshaping a thermoplastic foil has a lower tool carried on the frame and having an upper face formed with an array of upwardly open mold cavities, and an upper beam vertically displaceable above the lower tool. A punch plate fixed on the upper beam is provided with an array of downwardly projecting punches fittable in the cavities. A hold-down plate below the punch plate is limitedly vertically shiftable relative thereto. The hold-down plate is formed with an array of holes through which pass the punches. An actuator downwardly shifts the upper beam when the foil is extending horizontally between the lower tool and the hold-down plate for first pressing the foil with the hold-down plate against the upper face of the lower tool and then pushing the punches through the holes against the foil into the cavities to form pockets in the foil at the cavities.

  • Patent number: 7400332
Abstract: A digital color imager provides an extended luminance range, enabling a method for an easy transformation into all other color spaces having luminance as a component. White pixels are added to hexagonal red, green and blue pixels. These white pixels can alternatively have an extended dynamic range as described by U.S. Pat. No. (6,441,852 to Levine et al.). Especially the white pixels may have a larger size than the red, green, or blue pixels used. This larger size can be implemented by concatenation of “normal” size hexagonal white pixels. The output of said white pixels can be directly used for the luminance values Y of the destination color space. Therefore only the color values have to be calculated from the RGB values, leading to an easier and faster calculation. As an example chosen by the inventor the conversion to YCbCr color space has been shown in detail.

  • Publication number: 20080143365
Abstract: A prober is described that is suitable for testing of semiconductor substrates under atmospheric conditions that deviate from ambient conditions. The prober includes a chuck for mounting of a semiconductor substrate and a probe holder for mounting of test tips for electrical contacting of the semiconductor substrate. The semiconductor substrate and test tips are arranged within a housing sealed relative to the surrounding atmosphere. The housing comprises two housing parts joined with a seal. The seal can be inflated with two different pressures and is less deformable at higher pressure. For testing of the semiconductor substrate, coarse positioning of the semiconductor substrate relative to the test tips occurs under atmospheric conditions and then fine positioning with the sealed housing and deformable seal before the lower deformability of the seal is produced at higher pressure in the seal and the semiconductor substrate is contacted by the test tips and tested.
