Abstract: A pixel image sensor has a high shutter rejection ratio that prevents substrate charge leakage to a floating diffusion storage node of the pixel image sensor and prevents generation of photoelectrons within the floating diffusion storage node and storage node control transistor switches of the pixel image sensor. The pixel image sensor that prevents substrate charge leakage of photoelectrons from pixel image sensor adjacent to the pixel image sensor. The pixel image sensor is fabricated on a substrate with an isolation barrier and a carrier conduction well. The isolation barrier formed underneath the floating diffusion storage node allows effective isolation by draining away the stray carriers and preventing them from reaching the floating diffusion storage node. The carrier conduction well in combination with the deep N-well isolation barrier separates the pinned photodiode region from the deep N-well isolation barrier that is underneath the floating diffusion storage node.
Abstract: In the case of nested containers to be filled by a filling station, a gripping device grasps an entire row of empty containers and conveys it to a weighing station, where the containers are weighed. Following weighing, all containers of the row are simultaneously filled and then reweighed. The containers are then reinserted into the nest and sealed, without being refilled, which allows checking the operation of the filling station without wasting product.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for capturing images in a prober. According to the invention, the surface of a test object is illuminated in succession with light of a first, second and third color; and an image capturing device records a gray scale image of the surface; and a composite image is produced from the three gray scale images by means of an image evaluating device. The object of the invention is to qualitatively improve the image capturing, in order to raise the positioning accuracy by means of an improved display, as a result of which, finely structured test objects can be used. This object of the invention is achieved in that the lighting device is designed as a unit, which can be controlled by the image evaluating unit and which produces at least three colors and which exhibits at least one light emitting diode (LED) as the lighting means.

Abstract: A cellular wheel sluice for the feeding of hot bulk material with stabilization of the radial play between the web ends of the cellular wheel and the wall of the housing borehole by means of the combination of materials of different thermal expansion coefficients, whereby for stabilization of the radial play between the walls of the cellular wheel and the case wall its changes of diameter caused by heat are compensated. End strips used for sealing the gap, in their radial expansion, are fixed in a retention body with a low thermal expansion coefficient and therefore are always kept at a temperature-independent constant external diameter from the cellular wheel shaft.
Abstract: A method and a system for operating a dental operating chair connected to a computer, comprising operating elements and/or state indicators arranged on the dental operating chair, an interface via which the information is transmitted from the dental operating chair to the computer, in the form of function codes, by the operating elements and/or state indicators, and a memory region on the computer, in which at least one action associated with a function code is stored. To adapt the operating elements or the operating surface, software for managing the function codes is provided on the computer, by which the action associated with the function codes and stored in a configuration file is initiated. The allocation of the function codes of the operating elements and/or the state indicators of the dental operating chair to the PC actions can be configured by changing the configuration file.
Abstract: A telephone system for a motor vehicle includes a transmit/receive unit that transmits data over a wireless communication channel, and receives data over the wireless communication channel and provides a received signal. The system also includes a control unit that communicates with the transmit/receive unit; a first memory device; and a computing device. The computing device receives the received signal and automatically stores the received signal data in the first memory device when the telephone system is configured in a stand-by mode, which allows incoming data to be stored in the memory device while selectively preventing the transmission of outgoing calls originated by the control unit to the transmit/receive unit. Data can be sent to the motor vehicle telephone system and can be stored there for retrieval by the operator when he returns to the vehicle. The data may include audio and/or video data.

Abstract: A device for post-processing of printed print substrate webs comprises a smoothing device that is arranged immediately after the fixing device. The toner (still hot and doughy in terms of its consistency) is compressed with a predetermined pressure over a width of the print substrate web. It is thus achieved that less abrasion of the toner occurs in the further process and a specifically altered print image is generated.

Abstract: A suspension loop for a portion pack, consisting of a tubular sleeve, sealed on its ends by clips, in particular sausages, is attached to the end of a tubular sleeve drawn together to form a string of sausages by a twist knot formed from the suspension loop. The suspension loop, kept ready, clamped in rectangular shape, is pulled through the loop around the string with the aid of a swivelable looping finger. The device suitable for this additionally has a holding fork and a movable clamping fork, both of which are two-pronged. The device can be swiveled into the sealing device when the tubular sleeve is sealed with clips.
Abstract: A method for acquiring high-resolution images of defects on the upper surface of the wafer edge is disclosed. For this purpose, first the position of at least one defect on the upper surface of the wafer edge is determined. The thus determined position of the defect is stored. Then the wafer is transferred into device for micro-inspection, in which the defect is examined more closely and imaged. The images acquired in the device for micro-inspection are deposited in a directory.
Abstract: A method of determining geometric parameters of a wafer (16) is disclosed. For this purpose, the wafer (16) is inserted in a wafer holder (30). The wafer holder (30) is equipped with at least three mechanical contacting elements (22). The wafer is in mechanical contact with the contacting elements (22). The contacting elements (22) are distributed on the wafer holder (30) in such a way that they define a geometric figure which is configured such that the center point (40) of the wafer (16) comes to lie within the geometric figure. The position of each contacting element (22) is determined. Each desired geometric parameter of the wafer (16) is then calculated from the position of the contacting elements (22).
