  • Patent number: 7443432
Abstract: A circuit and method for correcting for power supply voltage noise using two dummy pixels in each row of pixels of an imager having a number of pixels arranged in rows and columns are described. The dummy pixels are driven by the same power supply as the active pixels but do not have the capability to sense light energy. The first dummy pixel is read at the time the active pixels in a row are reset and stores a signal in a first dummy register related to the voltage level of the power supply at the time the active pixels are reset. The second dummy pixel is read at the time the active pixels in the row are read and stores a signal in a second dummy register related to the voltage level of the power supply at the time the active pixels are read. The signals in the first storage register and second storage register can then be used to correct the signals from the active pixels in the row for the effect of noise caused by power supply voltage level fluctuations.

  • Patent number: 7433613
Abstract: In a method and system for setting toner concentration of a toner particle-carrier particle mixture in a developer station for development of a latent charge image on a carrier, a sensor is arranged in the developer station measuring the toner concentration. Toner feed in the developer station is adjusted. A current consumption value is determined for toner particles. From the toner concentration measured with the sensor and from the toner consumption value, a toner concentration is calculated at a location in the developer station at which the toner is extracted. A calculated toner concentration at the toner extraction location is input as a control variable used to adjust toner feed so that the calculated toner concentration approaches a desired value.

  • Patent number: 7431064
Abstract: A press for laminating together a pair of foils has an upper die and a movable lower die, the foil extending. An actuating plate is movable toward and array from the stationary die. A spring is provided between the actuating plate and the movable die. A drive displaces the actuating plate and the movable die carried by the spring thereon toward and away from the stationary die for compressing the foils between the dies when the dies are spaced apart by a predetermined distance equal substantially to a thickness of the foils. A sensor detects movement of the movable die toward the actuating plate with compression of the spring on movement of the actuating plate toward the stationary die. When the sensor detects movement of the movable die when the dies are spaced apart by a distance greater than the predetermined distance the actuating plate is arrested.
