Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods related to determining the level of afucosylated Fc glycans in IgG antibodies in a biological sample from a subject. This level can be used in methods aimed at monitoring and/or treating subject suffering from an acute flavivirus infection and/or who are at risk for progression to clinically significant infection or disease. This level can also be used in a vaccination method to ensure that those who receive a flavivirus vaccine have a reduced risk of reacting to the vaccine be developing clinically significant infection or disease. The disclosure also provides treatment methods based on inhibiting Fc?RIIA or Fc?RIIIA receptor signaling. Also provided are novel cell lines that are useful in measuring afucosylated Fc glycans.

  • Patent number: 11828851
Abstract: We provide a wide-field time-resolved imaging apparatus using resonant drive. We also identify ideal configurations of electro-optic (EO) modulator crystals for wide-field imaging. These techniques enable compact and low-cost LIDAR imaging devices. Resonant drive affords modulation of various EO modulators at high voltage by means of resonant voltage enhancement. Further, it enables operation of imaging modulators at high frequencies which would otherwise not be possible with conventional pulsed drivers—this leads to improved LIDAR accuracy and dynamic range. Resonant drive uniquely enables Pockels cell LIDAR beyond normal flash mode by allowing for multiple pulses or multiple cycles of amplitude modulated illumination to be present simultaneously in a scene. This corresponds to illumination and modulation waveforms having a defined phase relationship where time-of-flight is encoded in the phase of the returning light waveform.

  • Publication number: 20230376817
Abstract: Many embodiments describe a scalable scheme for performing quantum computation in a synthetic time dimension which uses a single coherently controlled atom. Quantum operations applied to the atomic qubit can be teleported onto the photonic qubits via projective measurement, and arbitrary quantum circuits can be compiled into a sequence of these teleported gates. The synthetic time dimension can negate the need for many identical quantum emitters to be integrated into a photonic circuit, and the single atom may provide effective all-to-all connectivity between photonic qubits.

Abstract: Polyacrylamide-based copolymers act as stabilizing excipients in formulations of antibody biopharmaceutical agents without interacting directly with the antibody or altering its pharmacokinetic properties. The polyacrylamide-based copolymers confer a substantial stability benefit to high concentration compositions of a variety of antibodies by precluding adsorption of the antibody to the interfaces of the composition, preventing undesirable aggregation events and maintaining the binding activity of the antibody. Such antibody compositions are useful in methods of administering the composition to a subject.
